Dog Days at Cold Garden
This might be the perfect spring trifecta in Calgary. Pints on a sunny, funky brewpub patio. A hot dog festival. The finish of a marathon road race, with all its thirsty competitors. wanted to draw some of Cold Garden's 'angels' in their above-cloud-level habitat! these animals live their whole lives in the air, only ever touching ground when injured or dying. Despite this layer of warm air looking and feeling like a paradise, it's a competitive place to exist in, every 'angel' is carnivorous and it's eat or be eaten up there! 🪽
this larger creature is an opportunistic predator, grabbing smaller creatures where able and swallowing them whole (no teeth!) it isn't prepared for its prey putting up a fight however, and may end up retreating in search of an easier meal...
