Cold Journey
The thumbnail studies I've been posting helped me see the importance to apply color early on in my sketches. I've also learned the importance of not relying too much on just one photo especially for color referencing. I will probably release this painting on Patreon.

Cold Journey
Through the grove of winter's whine, down the trail of desperate despairs; all along seeking to find the divine, in the darkness as if anyone cares.
The wind gently weeping lost regret, chilling the bones so alone to groan; within the wilderness of solemn fret, wandering far away with eyelids sewn.
Knowing each step of the beaten trail, as I have traveled it well with burden; always alone as it goes through Hell, on the journey to my Empty Garden.
