If you include them in the prep, they will more likely eat it! And it’s SO MUCH FUN for kids to make their own “Overnight Oatmeal” because there are so many flavors to choose from and it’s really fun to assemble.
A Few Jars w Lids (Mason Jars work great!), old-fashioned rolled oats (not quick oats or steel cut oats), chia seed, almond milk, and honey. Choose from a variety of fruits and/or nuts to mix in for fun flavors. Help your children follow the visual directions on the photo below the night before and then refrigerate the jars until morning!
You may also try:- Mango Almond Oatmeal (1/2 c. Mango cubes + ¼ c. almond slivers)- Blueberry Maple Oatmeal (1/2 c. blueberries + 1 tsp. Maple instead of honey)- Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal (1/2 apple + 1 tsp, cinnamon)- Banana Cocoa Oatmeal (1/2 sliced banana + 1 T. cocoa)- Banana Peanut Butter Oatmeal (1/2 sliced banana + 1 T. peanut butter)- Raspberry Vanilla Oatmeal (1/2 c. raspberries + 2 Tsp. vanilla Complete powder)
