Fun Fact:

In September of 1959, Soviet leader Nikita Kruschev visited the United States but was denied access to Disneyland due to Cold War tensions.

I initally laughed when I read this, because it seems like such a trivial and childish thing to happen among world powers. I guess when you think about it, you can really see how all aspects of society were affected during this time in history.
