SHE DIDN’T REALIZE SHE WAS INEBRIATED till she lifted herself off the chair she’d been seated on and almost tumbled right to the floor . composing herself , making sure no one had seen , she made her way out of the crowded room and towards where she believed the bathroom was . drink still in hand , a little walk had some normalcy returning to her movements ––––––– but before she knew it she found herself in a section of the house she was almost positive she wasn’t supposed to be in . looking around almost fearfully , she pushed open the door to her right . it was already slightly ajar , so when she stepped through to find someone there she stopped immediately , eyes wide like a gazelle caught in headlights . clearing her throat , she gave him an apologetic look . ‘ i’m so so sorry .. i guess this isn’t the bathroom then ? ’ she chuckled .. terrible attempt at humor . with her heels in one hand & drink in the other , she knew she looked like a complete mess .
