Okay, so I’m going to share a few posts of multiple photos from today since I can’t do more than 10 at a time on IG and I have just far too many photos from today to narrow them down to only one post! . Ninth day into our road trip, departing from Lone Pine, CA this morning, and I have to say that today, finally, has been the first day that I have really enjoyed the ride from start to finish, despite the fact that we experienced possibly one of the coldest if not THE coldest temperatures we have ever encountered on ANY trip, and not being properly dressed for such! At one point it reached as low as 6.5°C (or 43.7°F) and as high as 8036 ft elevation, so when we finally stopped for a break at Lee Vining to try and warm up we pulled the extra layers back out of the bike and I had to plug my heated vest back in again! Staying in Gardnerville, NV tonight and tomorrow hopefully be headed in the direction of some sun and heat!
