Frost everywhere! These temps have been horrid!!!! Negative numbers makes working nearly impossible, and definitely miserable to say the least. At about 7° F the hooves don’t so much nip off, as snap and break off. Nailing into frozen hoof wall is out of the question! The horses are certainly more reactive to the concussion, and we risk splitting hoof walls.
