“Oh yeah. It’s all coming back to me now. Worst day of my life, spinning so close to the finish line,” he replied, grinning as well. He was still slightly annoyed at that little mistake. But it was one of the rare days where he was relaxed and enjoying the day so he didn’t really mind that much. Then he just let out a tiny smile but didn’t comment on it. He had no doubt the guys would try to stay out of trouble now, or at least until they finished this project. “Right. Good point. He doesn’t know about that part of me. Unless he suspects something from the last time we talk. So…you told Julio?”
“Not my fault you can’t maintain your speed to avoid a spin out,” she teased with a grin. she had the experience of racing due to her days as a drag racer. Though she had to admit that he almost had the upper hand if it hadn’t been for the spin out. It was definitely a great day though. She nodded her head, going back to make the pancake batter. “Yeah, he knows. He knows pretty much everything. How to activate traps, how to contact me and what to look out for.” She shrugged her shoulders. “He already believed in that stuff. He has a grandmother that is a witch doctor.”
