i wanna plag a jackbox style game with other berdly/kerdly fans where each of us contributes a line of text that all together makes a love poem berdly would give kris in febuary

oh my god what if chapter 5 has a japanese-esque theme for a cutscene where berdly confesses his feelings to krispai but is drowned out by the sounds of the fireworks

i think that maybe a character flaw susie has that could be addressed later in the story is her inability/refusal to de-escalate situations

like for example her scene with noelle and catti in the church, catti was being very emotional yes, but she definitely could have been talked to- but susie opts for her same response she gave to carol and doubles down on what made catti upset-and then calls her a FREAKSHOW like damn 😞

yknow. i think the berdly/catti friendship potential is really underrated

i think they could both nerd out about literature and poetry together, since catti likes to speak in a pretty poetic way and berdly APPARENTLY writes love poems to kris every febuary (yeah im not letting that go)

i call their dynamic: Literature Club

i am so scared for suselle in chapter 5, because imagine

Noelle and Susie are in the darkworld after Asgore opens a dark fountain to “show everyone” in the festival and Noelle, reasonably, is upset with Susie for lying that it was a dream, and Susie says something like “i was trying to protect you!” and its the straw that breaks Noelles back because thats all she ever hears

everyone is talking about how well and swiftly berdly took the rejections but to someone who feels Lonely a lot it seems more like a quick acceptance that the people he’s even slightly close with dont want to spend time outside obligatory moments (like a certain school project)

i think even with his jokes and stuff he feels like it proves his ‘smart’ persona is needed and that he’s forgettable

but hey who knows maybe im reading into it too much

i think in return for valentines cards kris would give berdly those cards that explode glitter and play an annoying jingle on loop and it would be adorable
