colette and delphine, tommy torini and ladybird’s daughters 👯🏾‍♀️ they probably have the easiest life of any of my wasteland ocs, being born inside the vegas walls to two very influential people. they’re eccentric and creative in their own ways.

WIP wednesday!!

i was tagged by @taffingtons and @notanandalitebandit 🩷🩷 pausing the OW spree to post some ladybird things that have been sitting on my ipad.

top—tommybird and baby colette 🩵 as i’ve mentioned, their daughters pretty much grow up running around the tops. there are many late nights where colette should be in bed but wants to stay up to see mom and dad after their shows 🥺

bottom—LB’s family: chuck, linette, and freddie jackson! you may know her as ladybird, but they know her as altrese--and they miss her 🧡 also working on some stuff from when freddie and LB were younger in freeside before their family moved to new reno :)

tommybird ❣️

🍼 they get a lot of baby gifts sent to them from all over the mojave when people find out they’re expecting. LB had built up a lot of good relationships in her travels!

🌵 ladybird hates hoofing it across the wasteland and happily stays in vegas after the battle at hoover dam, only traveling when house needs her to, which isn’t nearly as much as before.

💃🏾 she still performs, but her acts mature as she ages over the years. i can also see her taking over some MC duties or doing them alongside tommy more. she would also help new girls with choreography, help restore old costumes they find, and makes outfits for colette to perform in

🇲🇽 tommy is half mexican and he and their daughters speak spanish amongst each other sometimes. ladybird is suchhhh a hater about it cus she can’t understand them smh

thinking about my wasteland kids when they’re older..

garvey kids (preston and wilma):

all of their children are involved with the minutemen in some way. shaun helps with defense technology, leon helps train new recruits, ellen actually leads the MM in her adulthood, and alma works as a liaison in diamond city.

torini kids (tommy and ladybird):

colette becomes an entertainer at the same theater her parents still perform in: the aces! she sings and tap dances, primarily. delphine writes music for her sister (in addition to nonfiction and essays she might want published one day..)

holdren kid (yvette and clayton):

eloise helps her father in the hydroponics lab at their settlement. she also assists in salvage teams, excited to see the rest of the commonwealth, much to the worry of her parents.

brown kid (sweet georgia brown and ulysses):

admittedly, it's a little hard to imagine little jon brown as an adult, but he may be a wanderer/hired gun like his mother. just as long as he stays alive long enough to come back for a visit.

🏩 random tommybird facts

🎤 business:

both tommy and ladybird take their artistry very seriously, which is partially why their shows are such a big blowout: you can already feel their chemistry but it’s the passion they have for their craft that really sets them apart. those shows really are electric!

they have a variety of acts they do together and separately! tommy dances with the rad pack dancers, of course, but i do think he sings and plays piano as well. ladybird loves to sing duets, but they also do dance routines too.

🎰 pleasure:

tommy is a big gift giver and he definitely has the means to do so, running the aces theater and being a high level member of the chairmen. once he gets with ladybird, he gifts her a custom tailored dress suit since she’s one of the chairmen now too 💘

they have SO many impromptu get togethers and parties after their shows. they close the theater to patrons for the night and spend time either with each other, or the chairmen and other acts, drinking and playing poker.

🤲🏾 treasure:

their daughters are extremelyyy spoiled! colette wants a giddyup buttercup? ladybird is bringing one home when she comes back from her travels. delphine wants a really prized grognak the barbarian comic? tommy’s pulling strings to see how he can get his hands on one, fast.

despite living in luxury now, both tommy and ladybird came from very humble beginnings, though their backgrounds were vastly different. tommy ran with the boot riders, the tribal gang that would eventually become the chairmen. ladybird came from a pretty average family in the poor town of freeside.

no matter what, ladybird always ends up at the tops casino, and with tommy as a result 🩷 for example: in aus where she isn’t the courier, she’s just a waitress trying to get to vegas to dance and it would’ve been an optional quest for the courier to help her get there.

it’s unfortunate that in every universe, it starts with ladybird having to flee reno to kickstart her plot, but she ends up with a pretty beautiful life, all things considered :)
