the full garvey family! i have spoken at length about the life preston and wilma build together. they've both done so much to make the commonwealth a little safer for the next generation, it’s time they enjoy it!

preston is truly honored to be shaun's stepdad right from the start… and it definitely helps him prepare for the 3 he has with wilma 🩷 i haven't been aging shaun when i've drawn him before but i am now :)

wilma and preston’s gaggle of children !

leon is kind of clingy to both wilma and preston but he’s sensitive. he likes hugs and being helpful

wilma gave birth to two eggheads—synth shaun and ellen are the nerds of the family. shaun likes grognak the barbarian comics and fancy lad snack cakes. ellen likes playing with codsworth and counting.

and alma is a princess who cares only for her toys.

their kids, minus shaun obviously, are named after their relatives:

leon johnathan garvey, was named after wilma’s brother, leon and preston’s father, john.

ellen carter garvey, was named after preston’s grandmother, ellen and wilma’s sister, carter

alma willadean garvey, was named after preston’s mother, alma and wilma’s mother, willadean

Hi! I love your Sole Survivor Wilma, and I'm so glad she and Preston have a family together, it's what they both deserve! ;_; I went through your Garvey Fam tag, but is there anything more you can tell us?

hihi! sure thing :)

🔬 shaun has his own personality of course... but he has a few mannerisms that remind wilma of nathaniel (red) whom he's obviously never even met! he has red's same goofy laugh too.

🏀 leon is neurodivergent and quiet. he gets better at dealing with social situations as he ages, but he feels a lot of pressure with his parents being so high profile. sensitive but very athletic! always running or playing ball.

🌎 ellen truly is the biggest fan of the minutemen and leads them once preston and wilma step down. she didn’t like being apart from preston as a baby, so she’s been sitting in MM meetings ever since she was a tiny lil gal!

🌟 alma was born prematurely and they weren't sure if she was going to pull through. she was very sick the first year of her life, but she's a fighter ❤️ still thee princess, but definitely the scrappiest of the bunch, she doesn't take crap from anyone

🇺🇸 like wilma's own father, shaun's father nathaniel, comes from a long line of multigenerational mixed people. also like wilma, red's family has been in the boston area since the 1700s. shaun's most recent ancestry is a mix of black american, irish, and english.

🇺🇸 leon, ellen, and alma's ancestry is mostly black american with some irish from wilma's side and french creole from wayyyy down preston's line.

👪🏾 leon was named after wilma’s brother, and alma was named after preston’s mother. looks-wise, leon and ellen take after preston's side of the family, while alma favors wilma's side.
