gay in ga is horrifying. I was recently with a guy in philly, and we were making out outside at night, and I found myself constantly looking over my shoulder, ready to get beaten up. I didn't realize before how much growing up there impacted my fears

I would love to see more Iris. But having her own storylines without having to be with a guy all the time. Westallen I want, but I want Iris to be more than just Barry’s girlfriend.

i understand that barry is the main character and all but i really wish they’d allow iris to haver her own stuff go on. like even eddie x iris is very much about barry’s pining for her. her journalism storyline was about having to prove she was more than just a contact for the flash... which she did by having an in with dr. wells via barry. i can’t remember her getting to have one-on-one conversations with her dad. i want her to have her own friends and her own storyline and her own life.

And some in fandom are racist towards Iris/Candice why I feel uncomfortable about joining the fandom. Iris and Barry are a canon couple in the comics and Grant has stated he likes Westallen. I love all the characters except Wells now.

I never read anything mean against Candice, the people I follow are angels, as usually :)

Yeah, I saw that. To be honest I don't know that you can assume that Chris liking a pic that had one of his friend's wearing a wig and asking if he looked like Shirley MacLaine, means that Chris was offended. I mean, it's open to interpretation. You don't know the cirmumstances of how that pic was taken or when - you don't know how Chris felt when he liked it. I don't know the timing of the bts vid to the pic liking but you can't even be sure that Chris knew what was said in the Shirley interview before he saw the pic. It could be a case of interesting timing - my point is we don't know, and I don't think it's up to us to assume that it means Chris was definitely offended. Chris comes across to me as a well-rounded, reasonable guy - I think he'd want to be sure of the absolute context of the remarks made before he went around throwing shade in public (particularly considering that he values his privacy so much) - and I doubt very much that Shirley would have said to him "oh yeah, I completely meant to diss you."

I'm not saying that you can't be offended on his behalf if that's what you want to be or if you feel that it's warranted - but I don't think you can go assuming that he was offended when, well, none of us actually know him personally.

Edit: Of course, like many people (myself included), Chris might think that Shirley MacLaine is an idiot, regardless of her definite acting talent, so maybe that factored into his liking that post as well ;-)
