The toothpaste brand ‘Colgate’ is in countries like Argentina, Costa Rica & Nicaragua pronounced and written the same as “Hang yourself!”. In these places, they speak the voseo version of Spanish (they use ‘vos’ instead of ‘tu’ and have a different conjugation). In most other places you would say “Cuélgate”.

Imagine hanging things on the wall using Colgate as glue.
