Dani wasn’t used to having this many eyes on her. Of course she knew with her costume it was her own fault, but she still wasn’t prepared for it. But Dani couldn’t pass up the opportunity to just once dress up and look like a princess she hadn’t celebrated a Halloween since before her parents died so in part it was her reliving a brief piece of her childhood. However with the staring and the anxiety that came with it and being around so many people all Dani wanted to do was find the nearest bar.
Wandering up to where people where bunched up to grab drinks, she somehow managed to squeeze herself in, dress and all, right up to the front of the bar. Leaning over she waved her hand a little, trying to flag down the bartender nearest her before ordering something fruity that sounded like it contained a decent enough amount of alcohol. Managing to down that first drink in record time she felt herself starting to loosen up as she ordered another, turning to face the crowd again as people wandered. Stepping away from the bar she spotted a familiar face right in front of her. “Oh hello, your costume looks great.”
