I have made this very rough animatic from my story boards and edited audio showing roughly how my piece of the animation would look were I able to continue with the project.

Using our selected colour palette I have made some style frames showing what I want my part of the animation to look like, I found it more difficult than i was expecting to work with such a limited colour palette but I think it has given me a deeper appreciation for this kind of more simple style animation.

Working form the feedback from last week’s team meeting I have developed the story board for my piece of the animation. By using the grey scale I have been able to show the different contrast of each element and look at the composition. This is quite a simple brief so it just helps to be able to look at the frames together

We had our second weekly team meeting where we discussed each others storyboards and decided on the colour palette we are going to use for our animation. It is still unclear as to whether or no we will actually be able to make it, but for now we are going to keep moving with the weekly meetings and making the pre-production materials

This is my developed version of the storyboard using the Audio we collected from Valentina’s interview. i wanted to encorporaste the plants from my previous ideas as I thought it would work well to show the different scale she talks about with making something small but feeling like the ‘creator of the universe’

These were my initial ideas of colour palettes to present to the group, i liked the idea of the blue being the main colour as I felt this would fit with the spacey theme my ideas were based on.

Today we had our first team meeting over a video call. Becasue of the escalating virus situation we are no longer able to meet up in person and so hosting out weekly meetings like this is the best thing to ensure we can keep moving forward with the project.
