I posted this a while ago on YouTube but nobody has joined by far. Does anyone on Tumblr want to join?
The characters can be found @that1hector.
Few weeks ago my bud, @squigglydigg made a keyframe animation, and I sorta fell in love with the concept of it. With her permission she let me inbetween, and clean the sucker up! Bendy just ain’t having a good time at all in this.
Bad News
Hi everyone
A few days ago I got an email alerting me to a copyright claim by Viz Media. Moon Animate Make-Up is no longer available to view in the United States on YouTube. I’ve been trying to get in touch with someone at the company to see if the block could be lifted, but so far I’m hitting a wall.
The video has never been monetized, we all worked on it for free and for fun, and until its blocking, it had almost 2.5 million views. I’m going to keep doing what I can to get in touch with someone at Viz about it. In the mean time, thank you for understanding, if you know anyone I can get in touch with I’d appreciate it, and I hope I can get this back up for you all soon.
Thanks so much
Kate
An animation collab based on the Steamed Hams meme from The Simpsons scene.
Steamed Hams but there’s a different animator every 13 seconds.
Completed Animation
(With audio)
- Overall I am very satisfied with the outcome I like the performances of the character and the morphing that takes place. The improvements I have made throughout has really enhanced my skills and my self awareness of strategising my work and finding solutions.
Evaluation - Animation Collaboration.
Start date - 10/03/17 Submission - 12/05/17
For this project I have been collaborating within a team to build and bring to life a series of facts or quotes about the process of animation, interpreting quotes of our choice, creating individual sequences that we have brought together to create a series of anthology of short films. This has relied on my collective research, thoughts and understanding of the concept of art form in animation.
Collaboration:
Within our group we have diverse, creative animators working in the medium of 2D and 3D animations, all unique and stylised in there own way. It has been a great for us to come together and create these animations of different backgrounds and yet convey the same likeness as to what the art of animation means. That said there has been a few highs and low points during this project. that of keeping up with communication and meeting up for group discussions. Never the less we have all come together and pulled through and have successfully produced a series of anthology of short films.
Animation:
As a result of the animation I am very pleased with the outcome. The changes I have made throughout this project has really improved the quality of my work and has enhanced the level of my skills. It has been these obstacles that has pushed me to find other strategies and resolve theses issues to produce better content. It has made me become a better animator and evidence is shown throughout my progress.
Advantages:
The style of the animation is consistent throughout. My research and time spent developing the character and it’s environment has worked out to be successful and visually appealing in the animation.
Maintain to a minimum of four colour schemes. The colours I have decided to use has complimented the animation very nicely, although in some sequences the character was against a white backdrop this was intentional so that the pure focus was on the performance of the character.
Disadvantages:
There where some sequences of the characters performance that could have been improved on, that of incorporating more in-betweens and making the key frames more bold and strong within the poses.
When watching back on the animation I do feel that in some sequences that I should of held longer poses, thus making the animation paced nicely instead of looking rushed.
process - Refining animation
- I am in the process of refining the animation, adjusting certain key frames to create a pause. Also I have been refining the colours, incorporating shadows and filling in the background with a decorative piece of imagery.
Credit sequence
The credit will placed at the end of the footage. it will state the quote I have used form the artist. i.e (Glen Keane) This time the still has colour and design, very much like the one I have used in the animation. I thought this was a feature to close the animation. The concept of the animation starting of bare then ending with colour and so it continues towards the end of the title sequence.
