Share Anytime Launch Featured at Apps World London

As part of the exciting launch of Share Anytime in Europe, the MetaMoJi team showcased a worldwide collaboration at the Appsworld London show.  This global event has become one of the most important mobile app events in all of Europe.  Over 8000 people packed into London’s Earl’s Court to listen to exciting speakers like Steve Wozniak and Electronic Arts’ Trip Hawkins as well as 250 exhibitors demonstrating their products.

MetaMoJi’s European team showed the best of Share Anytime by orchestrating a live, interactive Share Note session around the world with international participants.  Audience members and attendees were impressed with the speed of real-time interaction on the whiteboard canvas of Share Anytime.  They took special interest in the ability to import a PDF which the group could simultaneously annotate as well as add blank pages to contribute to an entirely new collaborative document.                                                                      

The high resolution graphic capabilities of Share Anytime were intriguing to many booth attendees who had a chance to try out the app.  The ability for professional graphic artists and web designers to share their ideas visually in real-time was of particular interest.  Sharing images in live collaboration between professionals also opens up thousands of possibilities for offering “remote expertise” to contribute design ideas or to even diagnose a condition with remote patients.

Share Anytime Launched at International Business Awards in Barcelona

This week showcased the exciting debut of MetaMoJi’s Share Anytime app which was introduced for the first time outside of Japan at the International Business Awards in Barcelona, Spain at the beginning of a global press tour which will take place over the next several weeks in multiple locations across Europe and the United States. 

MetaMoJi was invited to the grand gala event of the International Business Awards because Note Anytime was awarded the Silver Stevie award for product excellence.  The MetaMoJi European team used this elegant occasion to create a worldwide collaboration with our new product, Share Anytime in the global interactive whiteboard of a Share Note.

Since Share Anytime allows for over a hundred people to collaborate together in real-time with the visual display of a virtual whiteboard– reporters in the United States and Europe were able to log in and interact with our team directly from the grand gala event.  Reporters were very impressed with the instantaneous response of graphic rendering within the Share Note environment. 

Mel Martin from TUAW (The Unofficial Apple Weblog) was one reporter who had a lot to say about the collaborative mashup capabilities of Share Anytime.  He said, “I also tried a sample session that was running in Barcelona. Again, updates were very quick, so the technology in the app is up to the task of real-time collaboration.”

The black tie event was a perfect stage to demonstrate the Note Anytime theme of “Capture Your Inspiration” and the Share Anytime theme of “Think Together”.   Since Share Anytime Free allows anyone to test out their ability to lead creative meetings, it is a great platform for breaking through barriers of communication around the globe by permitting  group brainstorming and simultaneous response.

Mel Martin at TUAW Wrote Enthusiastic Review of Share Anytime

The press is buzzing following the global launch of Share Anytime for iPad on Monday.  Mel Martin of TUAW (The Unofficial Apple Weblog) joined the live Share Note broadcasting from our European team directly from the International Business Awards in Barcelona.  The Share Anytime launch date coincided with the same day MetaMoJi was to be presented with a Silver Stevie award for Note Anytime at a grand gala in Barcelona, Spain. Several reporters were given a special invitation to join the event and watch the live collaboration in real-time.

Mel Martin at TUAW participated in the event by writing in during the session.  He had several positive things to say about Share Anytime, calling it a “clever collaborative whiteboard app for iPad”.    Mr. Martin  found the app to be a good collaboration tool, especially for large groups of people.  He was impressed with the import and export functionality of the app.  He liked that many different users could import content from WORD, Powerpoint, Excel etc and they could all annotate them together in real-time.  He also loved the capability for Share Anytime users to do collaborative PDF annotation as well.

He said,  “I tried the app with a friend about 600 miles away. He was on a first-generation iPad; I was on an iPad 3. Everything worked fine, and neither of us had to consult the help files. When he imported an image, it popped up on my iPad. I could underline it, add a text comment or move it, and he would see the changes almost instantly. There is also a chat function so people can type comments in real time. I also tried a sample session that was running in Barcelona. Again, updates were very quick, so the technology in the app is up to the task of real-time collaboration.”
