Adventures in Open Source III - Collabtive
Well we needed a project management solution for a while. We were using Google services to mange all the things. Google calendar, Drive, Docs, Groups and Keep. Everything is still everywhere.
Well Basecamp would be the best choice if your willing to go into a closed system, it has all the necessary tools available for any company. I have used Basecamp before in small scale project I did for But I was looking around to see if there are any open source self hosted solutions available. So we can tweak things a bit and make the ideal solution for us.
After some research I found handful of open source project management solutions, out of all Collabtiv seems to have a good UI and functions and features that we would need. So Now we are using it, but still we haven’t fully moved to using Collabtive alone, there is some getting used to it. But will see how it goes.
