Continued from this. Read more for length.
Heat: -Heat blinked, looking down at them once again, to be surprised, or to know what he was getting into. Well, Heat did enjoy surprises. But he also liked the knowledge of what he was jumping into. Looking to Omega and crossing his arms, he gave more of a smirk this time around.- Okay, I'll bite. What must I look out for?
Omega: Omega pointed down at the group, more specifically at the only robot in the air. "The flying robot is called an EggFlapper and there are many varieties. The yellow kind are only equipped with a searchlight, but if it sees you it will in call in reinforcements. However I believe someone has already attacked them so it has no more to call."
Omega: Next her arm moved to point at the three turtle like bots, her voice taking on a somewhat more grim tone. "These are Camerons, once they are placed in an area they are unable to move under their own power. But they are extremely sturdy, I do not believe even I could damage them. The only vulnerable point is on their underside so they must be turned over. They have a very powerful cannon on their back that fire shots with a very wide diameter but only the green rim of it can be seen."
Heat: -Heat followed where Omega pointed, and gave another not after Omegas words.- I see. -He felt like he could take them on honestly. even though the turtle like bots had to be turned over, and they have a large range of attack, he thought that if he could lift one of them, or find a way to tilt one over, he'd have a shot.-
Omega: Now her gaze fell upon the last type of robot down there. "Lastly we come to the Egg Knight, it is an enhanced form of Egg Pawn. Stronger and smarter than its red siblings, it is actually able to form attack strategies. The horn on its head is an antenna and using it the Knight is able to command other E-Series robots and make them follow its plans of attack. I believe this would be the perfect base for H-01 and I have an idea on how to take it down with as little damage as possible."
Heat: -Heat blinked, and gave another nod afterwards. Glancing to Omega.- What's your plan Omega? -His smile still on his mug, as he glanced off to the robots again. Mentally going over the plan he'd developed so far, he wanted to see how it'd all work out before enacting it this time around-
Omega: If the robot could smile she would be ear to ear from pride right now. "As formidable as an Egg Knight is it is still just an Egg Pawn. You yourself said it’d probably just take a type of high frequency to make the connection to its motherboard freeze up. I have a sonic cannon, although I have never tried this before I believe I can set it to give out the kind of high frequency sound to do just that. If it works the Knight should just shut down unharmed."
Heat: -Heat took a moment, to think about how they'd do this. Setting his gaze back onto Omega.- It should work, may I see your sonic cannon before we go? Or would you like to set it yourself? Then we can go down, I could land on the Egg Flapper, and you could land on one of the Camerons. If their attacks are widely ranged, it's less likely that the attack could hit you while you're on another ones back, I believe that it would also be a good area for you to use your Sonic cannon on the knight. I could take out the Egg Flapper without giving it too much damage on impact, and we can work together to take out the Camerons. I believe that I may be able to flip them onto their backs. Do you think this a sufficient plan?
Omega: "I believe so but we would have to be fast. The moment the Camerons see us they will fire." She hesitated for a few moments but eventually she opened up her front right panal, there was only a single weapon inside. "I have shut the cannon down, that way there will be no accidental discharges while you are calibrating it."
Heat: -Heat gave a nod, and idly squatted down to fiddle with the sonic canon, when he finished he idly stood back up.- That should do it. I believe that if you stay on top of one of the camerons, you should be safe from their attacks in particular.
Omega: Closing the panel she powered it back up and ran a few diagnostics on the cannon and all connected systems, everything should work as far as she could tell. "I am not sure that would protect me. The camerons will fire on each other since they are more than strong enough to withstand their own attacks. The flapper is no threat at all so you may want to consider dropping down directly on a cameron instead."
Heat: 'But I don't believe that the attack could reach you on another's back. And, I could use the Flapper for spare parts, even with a bit of damage from the landing I believe it is of some use to me.' Heat said, taking a step forward. 'Do you wish to go first Omega, or would it be better for us to go at the same time?'
Omega: "Their weapons would be able to reach me, which is why I believe it would be better to go at the same time if possible. Yellow flappers have no weapons and will not flee even after the others have been rendered inoperable. We can safely save it for last."
Heat: 'Alright, should we do a count down for when we're to jump?' He asked, giving a nod of acknowledgement to Omega's words. Landing on the what looked like large turtles, take them down, and then take down the Knight, and leave the Flapper for last. That was what was mainly running through his mind, as he glanced towards Omega, as if to wait for confirmation on whether they'd just try to jump along the same time, or do a count down.
Omega: Looking back down at the Badniks she did a few more scans and calculated the distance to all of them. "A count down would be very good I think. My jumping ability may be somewhat limited but when combined with the twin boosters on my back it should be more than enough to get over to the nearest cameron. Once I flip it over and take it down I will turn my cannon towards the knight, you will have to handle the last cameron before it gets a shot off."
Heat: Alright, sounds good. And I think I can handle that. -Heat gave another nod, and got ready for a big jump. He could probably reach the edge of the platform if nothing else, and he was fast enough to get the second Cameron. He wasn't sure about how long he had for it to shoot an attack, but he'd take it down in little to no time at all.- We'll both go on One, is that okay?
Omega: "Okay Heat." Getting into a ready stance she held up her hand and used her fingers to count down from four, which was all the fingers she had on a single hand. At the zero mark the boosters on her back rocketed to life as she blasted forward off the edge of the platform.
Heat: -Heat followed, once the last finger went down Heat pushed himself off the ledge of the platform they were on, sucking in a deep breath as he rolled into a hurdling ball of spikes headed towards the other platform, landing on the edge and continuing to roll until he got next to the Cameron farthest from where he'd come from.-
Omega: Crashing feet first right next to one of the robot turtle turrets she was quick in getting it flipped over and delivering a single punch to its underside, that's all it took for it to be shut down. Turning towards the Knight the right panel in her chest opened, revealing the cannon inside, as she activated the device at full power.
Heat: -Heat idly came out of his ball, and followed suit, throwing the turtle like mechanism onto its back, and stomping onto its lower stomach, making a hole that sparked electricity when he pulled his foot out of it. Sticking his fingers into his ears when Omega activated her cannon, to avoid hearing the level of noise his sensitive ears would have a chance of catching.-
Omega: It took a few moments but the golden eggpawn just collapsed where it was standing, the yellow flapper flying nearby fell out of the sky as well. Omega felt she should have expected that, the main body of an eggpawn and a flapper were basically the same thing after all. With those two taken care of there was still a single cameron left standing and it was getting ready to fire at the two.
Heat: -Heat quickly hopped in the air, and curled into a ball, ramming into the third Camerons side, as a way of flipping it onto its back. And bounced onto its bottom, before coming out of his ball with a whistle.- That went well.
Omega: Figuring that was more than enough she powered down her sonic weapon and closed her panel. "Yes, I would say so." Going over to the knight's side she poked it a few times just to be sure it was deactivated. Picking it up onto her shoulder she went over to the flapper, doing the same with it, before taking them to the middle of the camerons, and placing them gently down on the platform. "I believe we can return now."
Heat: I agree. -Heat said, flashing a smile as he hopped out of the middle Camerons abdominal area. Placing his hands on his hips, he was delighted that they could do this. And he'd get a chance to weld a bit when he got home, it was like a victory bonus for him.- How are we going to get the scraps from the Cameron? I should have brought a bucket. -He muttered the second part to himself mostly.-
Omega: "I am not sure, if those turrets were not on their backs you could just keep them flipped and put the scraps in the holes we made." Heading over to one she started tinkering with shell mounted weapon. It took some force but she was able to just pop it right off. "Oh, seems we can do that after all."
Heat: -Heat watched and seemed to purr under his breath, going to pick up one of the camerons.- How are we going to get these guys back to the lab though? -That was honestly his main issue, as he put the Cameron he picked up onto the second one.- do we wait for a portal, or do we find one? I'm not sure what else we could do about that part.
Omega: Picking up another cameron she placed it, still upside down, on top of the last one. "I still have my Warp Ring. We can use that once it's finished recharging and picking up a stack of camerons should not be a problem for me."
Heat: I can pick them up with little effort, I dunno if such a tall stack could fit into a portal though? How big can a portal get? -Heat huffed, tapping his cheek in thought.- Could the portal stay open for a little while? It'd only take two trips. Or, I could hold two and you could hold one? I don't wanna make you do all the lifting honestly.
Omega: "I believe I can make it stay open for a while and splitting up the loads may be a good idea." Picking up the flapper she placed on top of the two turtle 'bots before picking the entire stack up for just a moment. "This should work if you put the Egg Knight on top of your cameron."
Heat: Alright. -Het said, giving a small nod. Taking the knight , and putting it on top of one of the other cameron.- I look forward to doing this again some time, Omega. Oh, how long do you think it'll take for the warp ring to charge? We may have a lot of time to kill.
Omega: "I look forward to doing this again too, Heat. Maybe next time we'll get a better fight out of it as well." Taking out her warp ring she scanned it for a few moments before putting it back where she got it. "I estimate it will be safe to use in approximately ten minutes."
Heat: Heat flashed a smile, and crossed his arms once again, walking up to Omega in some delight. 'Thank you. I really appreciate this Omega! Can I do anything in return for you? I feel like I owe you at the very least a favor!' He thought that he might as well ask, since they have along ten minutes before the warp ring can be activated. And since, it was on his mind. It'd probably bug him a little if he didn't repay her in some way.
Omega: To be honest the idea of being repaid for this never once crossed her mind. "Doing this was fun and reward enough buuuut I would like to regularly hear about your progress with H-01 if I may. Perhaps I could even help and give insight."
Heat: Heat gave a nod, he could do that. Idly tapping his silver wristlet. 'Understood. I am glad that it was fun for you as well, do you have a communication device that I may contact? I will do my best to keep you updated on the process of H-01.' He said, unsure how to contact Omega past stumbling by chance into the correct portal whenever it may appear, although there was a slim chance that'd ever happen. He had a portal that always entered Rebecca's zone, but he wasn't sure if that was possible for Omegas zone. So something like a contact number would do well, although Heat didn't have a phone, that would soon change if he needs one to contact his companions.
Omega: That would be a big problem. If the Hedgehog had a Warp Ring exactly like hers then contacting each other would be as simple as touching their wrists. "I do not have a way I'm afraid. But I can always visit regularly and you can tell me everything new about H-01 then. If that is acceptable with you."
Heat: Heat gave another small nod. 'Yes, that is acceptable. If you wish, I can make a type of communication device so you don't always have to visit if you do not wish to, I just need to know your preference to an accessory of sorts. Like this' He said, showing the metallic silver bracelet. 'This is something I made, to keep in contact with one of my companions across the star systems. I can give you one as well, However they only connect to each other. So, you would not be able to be contacted by others, unless it was tweaked for the purpose of catching other connections. I can do that as well if you wish?' Heat asked, he had a couple made in one of he rooms of the lab, however no one really used them in his own zone.
Omega: Getting her face right up to the other's arm to look at the bracelet, Omega started scanning it with her sensors. "How strange. My Warp Ring is much like this, it is a communications device but is only able to contact other Warp Rings like it. However I do not know how it works or how to modify it."
Heat: 'It's activated by tapping its plating.' Heat tried to explain, tapping it once again, causing it to open up, and reveal a screen that has 'CONTACTS' in all caps at the top, turning it so Omega could see. 'It's activated by touch, this is the first thing that appears, the contact list with the name of the people you may want to contact. If you have a lot of people on your contacts, you can scroll down with an arrow that appears in the lower right hand corner.' He tried, then gestured to an icon in the upper left corner, that looked like a small white book. 'Tapping this would access the manual, as well as the blueprints to this device if you wish to adapt it to your needs.'
Omega: "I believe I would like two if possible please. One built as a part to be integrated into my systems so I could use it just as I can with any other part. Another like this bracelet as a back up in case an anon ever turned me organic again."
Heat: Heat gave another nod. 'Yes, I can do that. I apologize about not having any on hand with me, but when we reach the laboratory I can give you two. I have plenty of them.'
Omega: "Alright, but you will have to modify the both of them for me. I would like them to be able to contact more than just other bracelets like this."
Heat: 'I can do that, I've only fiddled with one to be adaptable with other communication devices already, so it shouldn't take too long for that part.'
Omega: "Could you also make it where I can sync my system with the backup bracelet please? That way I can make sure both have the same contact information. It would be bad if I was turned organic and the backup did not have any contacts on it."
Heat: 'Yes, That should be possible. I hope you do not mind spending a while with me in the lab, I may need to plan out how the syncing processes and find extra materials around the building for small tweaks, to customize them for you.'
Omega: "I would not mind at all. I just hope it would have a place for me to plug in and recharge. That's always a danger when traveling to other Zones, I never know if they have the kind of sockets I plug into."
Heat: 'There's no need to worry about that too much, they're solar powered. The entire outer casing is capable of recharging any used power by being in the suns light, I can hook up the one I'll put inside of you how you like for it to recharge, I wouldn't want it to add to any extra parts taking up energy from you. They're very highly adaptable to preference for everyone's needs and easy usage. Such as one of my companions who needed to have a sort of healing mechanism, due to how often he gets into trouble. That one was quite a tricky adaptation, but it was done. I should ask him to come over again some time so I can update it though.'
Omega: "I do not believe there will be any solar power available inside me, so you will have to hook it into my power systems. And I was speaking more about myself earlier, I have a cord in my back that plugs into the wall and that is how I recharge. I never know if a Zone I am in has the kind of sockets my cord plugs into."
Heat: Heat gave another nod. 'Ah, I see. Well, you can really choose any type of way you wish to power it, Anything's possible when you put your mind to it. And I have plenty of time, with my friends taking care of the children.' He said, rubbing his fingers against his cheek in thought.
Omega: "Giving the device its own power source wouldn't really make much sense, that would just make it unnecessarily bulky and take up too much room that could be used for other things." If she had a brow to raise it would have been as high as it could go. "Children?"
Heat: 'That's true. Space is also a concern..' Heat said, humming slightly. Lighting up a bit when Omega asked, Dragging him from his thoughts on the power consumption. 'Huh?' He blinked, he tends to forget about people not knowing about him. 'Oh, Yes. Children. About Eleven of them at the moment.' Heat idly rubbed the side of his head, giving a sheepish smile. 'There are puppies too, and a lot of my friends live there to help take care of all of them, we're like a huge family you could say.'
Omega: Hearing all of that made her optics light up a rather bright shade of pink. "You remind me of Rebecca. So what ideas do you have about the devices and would I be allowed to watch as you construct them please?"
Heat: Heat gave a small nod, rubbing the back of his head idly. 'Well. She is quite amazing.' He commented, flashing a goofy grin. 'I don't have that many ideas really, Just small things, such as the communication device that can adapt to many changes, and dog tags with trackers, so we always know where the dogs go.' He said, his natural flush going a bit darker. 'I mostly tweak things around the lab, yes. You're allowed to watch me, It's nothing special though I believe.'
Omega: "Yes, she is." Omega had to take a moment to get a hold of herself again, there was work to be done and she didn't want to be distracted during it. "If it means anything to you, I think something such as tweaking things around the lab is special. Even though I am a robot my capabilities in such areas are rather lacking."
Heat: Heat gave a small nod, flushing over a shade darker. He never really thought on it much, but he was flattered. Idly laying his hand on Omegas head, flashing a large grin. 'Yes, it means a lot to me. Thank you Omega. I think that, it's okay to lack in relative areas, because you have other areas you excel in. If, that is of any relevance to you.' He said, honestly he didn't mind if they got distracted, it's always interesting to be taken away somewhere. If it were something that needed to be done, he probably would be silent as to wait on the warp ring, however there was time to waste at the moment. A good time to relax a bit, from all the drama that would happen in his usual homes standards.
Omega: Omega couldn't help but reach up to keep the Hedgehog's hand right where it was, seems she really did like being petted. "I do not detect any functioning badniks within range of my sensors. Someone must have already been through here and taken down the robots along the way."
Heat: Heat blinked to that, and left his hand there in response, idly petting her head while he listened. 'I wonder who it could've been.' He said, tilting his head slightly. Well, it didn't matter honestly. 'It's alright, we have everything we really need. Perhaps a visit later on would be appropriate for gathering other parts if needed.'
Omega: Sitting down she tried to pull Heat down to continue his pets as gently as she could. "Yes and if we cannot find the parts needed here we could always check other Zones for Badniks. There are a few I have been to already that are full of them."
Heat: He idly tried to abide what she wanted him to do, listening. 'Mmm, I think we have enough at the moment, It's nice to leave some more of these Badniks for these kinds of activities later on. No need to go out and destroy them all just yet.' He hummed out happily.
Omega: "If the Eggman of this Zone and all the other Zones I have been too are like the one I know. They never stop making Badniks, unless you take him down they might as well be endless." Scooting over right next to the Hedgehog she couldn't help but pull him into a little hug, she had to be careful not to accidentally hurt him.
Heat: Heat Idly hummed to this knowledge, idly wrapping his other arm around Omega, a smile stretched across his face. Idly hugging her back. Even if the hug were to hurt, heat wouldn't have minded. After all, the gesture itself was appreciated. Rubbing his hand against her head idly. 'I see, that man has quite a lot of time on his hands to make so many of them.' He hummed out. 'He probably has quite the conveyor belt system for them, given the poor quality of fighting they all seem to share. He couldn't have made them all by hand.'
Omega: "Most of his machines are mass produces, Eggpawns and their variants included. Assuming they work the same way the Eggman from my Zone did." Taking her Warp Ring back out her optics turned green as she inspected it. "I believe it is fully charged now. So do we go back to the parts we left or directly to your lab?"
Heat: 'I see.' Heat thought for a few minutes, blinking as he weighed the options. Before making a decision, although he was perfectly fine with either option, this one gave him an excuse to hang out with Omega a bit longer, even though they did plan to spend some more time together at his lab. 'Lets go to the parts we left.' It gave him some more minutes to kill with Omega. Definitely. 'And if we must wait for the ring to charge again, we can find some other things to do there, I'm sure.' He said, nodding to himself. Before a small chuckle escaped his throat.
Omega: With that she quickly opened the ring and started picking up parts. "The portal will not stay open for long, so we must get these over there quickly." With her arms full she stepped through, sound may not travel through them but from the way her foot hit the bottom of it she might have just tripped and fallen.
Heat: Heat got the rest, cradled in a turtle like shell, quickly following her as some Sonic speed, concern making its way on his face. Stepping through to see if she was alright, placing the parts off to the side and checking on her, he was rather worried. Having not really heard the sound, but recognizing that it seemed like she did trip by the angle and speed of her foot changing from her previous steps. 'You okay Omega?'
Omega: Getting up she was quick to get her foot out of the portal, managing to do so just a split second before it closed. "I would have lost my foot if I was not fast enough." Picking up the mess she made the little robot placed the new parts next to the ones they left earlier. "Now we have to wait for it to charge again."
Heat: Heat idly patted her head, and helped gather the parts with her. 'That wouldn't have been good, next time let's do a count down again.' He said idly, after all it seemed to be the easiest method when it came to being sufficient with a limited time. 'Alright.' He hummed in response, idly grouping all the parts together. 'There's no rush, so we can take our time Omega.'
Omega: With everything grouped together she started organizing it all and making an inventory list in her head. So next time they traveled between Zones they'll be sure to not lose anything. "We could look for a more efficient method of transporting all of these parts while we are here."
Heat: Heat thought, blinking and tapping his finger against his own cheek once she said that. Trying to think of a way they could transport them more efficiently. 'Perhaps something that could hold everything, and we could take either side through the warp hole together? One of us could push, and the other could pull, and it could be propped up by wheels to move a bit easier?' he asked, wanting her opinion on it. If not, it was back to the drawing board.
Omega: "That sounds like it could work, perhaps we could even put a cover on it to both prevent parts from falling out and protect them from the elements while in transport. With all the parts I have here in this Zone I'm sure we can make something, I have more inside the house if you would like to join me."
Heat: Heat blinked, and thought before giving a nod. 'Yes, I'll join you. I'm sure we'll think of something appropriate and functional for this.' He hummed, idly patting her head, and waiting for her to lead the way. Wasn't like someone was going to come by and steal their stash of robot parts.
Omega: "The house is made for people quite a bit shorter than you. So you might want to watch your head." Heading into the house she lead the way to the workshop, where quite a few Badnkis of various designs were laying about. "What do you think we can make with these?"
Heat: Heat gave a small nod of acknowledgement to her words, idly laying his hands against his hips, and walking along behind her. Bowing down when he needed to. He glanced towards the various badniks, eyeing the different shapes with a small purr. And humming in thought. Gesturing to a particular badnik that looked like a lady bug to him. 'Maybe something with this? If we can find three more, we may be able to attach them together with one of the larger ones we have outside.' He suggested.
Omega: "To make a cart of some sort?" She supposed it could work even if the machines were a few generations apart. "We may have to soup up the Motobugs' engines in order for them to carry the load. But if we do it right we will not even have to push it. Make yourself at home and do whatever preparations you need to do." Heading back outside she was quick to bring all the Camerons inside as well. "So how do we start?"
Heat: 'Yes, a cart would work just fine.' Heat gave another nod, idly fumbling around, coming up with the motobugs that were needed. Idly setting them up next to each other while Omega was gone. 'Mm, Perhaps we could make a system between all of them?'
Omega: "That is what I was thinking." She replied putting one of the turtles up on the work bench. "This place should have all the tools we need to construct it. But I am unsure about what to power it with. These robots were made to be powered by animals and I do not want to use any of them."
Heat: 'We could hook up some batteries if we find some.' Heat hummed out, idly moving to some other badniks, to start scavenging around them for parts he could us for the connections they could do. After a while he managed to connect the motobugs together, with some various parts. Walking over to get the turtle shell and placing it in the middle, so it would be held up by the motobugs. 'This seems alright, what do you think Omega?'
Omega: Looking the new invention over the little robot poked at it a few times to test its strength. "I believe this MotoCameron cart should suffice for now. Perhaps we could put a second shell on top to prevent any thing inside from spilling should it fall over? But that would nearly double the empty weight."
Heat: Heat watched, smiling in some feeling of pride since it didn't fall apart on her. His hands on his hips, before he went to get another shell when she mentioned it. 'That sounds good, I'm sure it'll be fine. Do you have any hinges hanging around?' He asked, carefully placing the second turtle like shell on top of the other, making a clam like shell. He didn't want to slam it down, since that would just be putting unnecessary pressure on the structure, he was sure it could handle it though. He trusted the material and the way he put it together.
Omega: "Unfortunately I do not believe we do. Perhaps we can add that in at a later time." Picking up more spare parts she started filling up the shell to test if this could handle the additional weight. "One upgrade we could do is linking these Badniks' brains together, so it would be able to drive itself."
Heat: Heat hummed, tapping his chin in thought to the idea. He wasn't really sure how, other than to get them on their brains on the same frequency of control. Fumbling around the spare parts idly. 'Maybe. I think I can do that.' Fiddling around through parts and bits, he fit some small bits together, fumbling with wires parts and things generally until he got a small uneven rectangle. He'd fix it up some more later on, it only had two buttons at the moment, and a small power switch. Going to add something to the motobugs, before taking a step back. 'I think that should do for now, we can improve it more once we get to the lab and finish the other things on our to do list.' He said, handing the remote to Omega so she could be the one to try it out. 'Hope it works.'
Omega: Taking the device in her hands she looked over every inch of it before pushing the switch, bringing the new Frankenstienish machine to life. "Interesting. So I can control it with this?" Pushing one of the buttons she waited to see what it would do.
Heat: The machine moved forward once the button was pushed. Heat gave a small hum. 'Yes, I need to modify it though. Since it only goes back and forth at the moment. However it should be sufficient for the current task at hand.' He said with a smile. He was rather proud of himself.
Omega: "It is certainly better than pushing it. My ring should be charged enough for us to go to your lab." Taking it off she offered it to the Hedgehog. "Do you know how to activate one of these devices?"
Heat: Heat blinked, taking the device and slanting his lips. He's definitely seen it before, and he remembered someone explaining it to him. Giving a small hum. 'I believe so? I think of the place I wish to go and throw it if I am not mistaken?' he asked, looking to Omega for clarification first. He didn't want to accidentally screw it up.
Omega: "You can throw it but it is not required, it will fly off on its own to open. Why not use it in front of the MotoCameron? That way I only have to push the forward button."
Heat: 'Huh.' Heat hummed, walking next to the contraption they created. 'I'll try.' He said, before using the warp ring, letting it float in front of the motocameron and open up, looking to omega and gesturing to the portal. 'You first'
Omega: Pushing the button on the controls she sent the cart in first before following it in. Making sure to get clear of the ring she started looking around the hedgehog's lab. "Huh."
Heat: He quickly followed after her, looking back so he could catch the warp ring when it closed. The room they were in was spacious, a large table attached to the wall and floor stretched along one area. Small objects and parts obscuring some of the space there, the room was well lit and everything was white except for the table top and the parts littered about. There were a few blood stains along a big window, viewing another white room. Red somewhat faded along the corners and splatted along some areas. Some boxes were in the far corner, there were two doors one could walk out of. The whole area itself was big enough for a mob to come in, and the ceiling was a bit on the high side. 'I apologize for the mess, I haven't finish cleaning this room up.'
Omega: "It is alright, I do not mind at all." Going over to the hedgehog she was quick to pluck the ring from his hand and put it back up. Giving the room a closer look she stayed away from the blood stains, she did not like the kinds of feelings looking at those gave to her. "So when do we start on my communicators?"
Heat: Heat cracked his fingers, walking towards the table top and fumbling around, before he pilled two silver rings and a small mound of parts to the edge. 'Right now if you want, there's no rush for H-01, and you may need to go somewhere so I believe this is the best action at the moment.' he said, pulling some tools from the tables things and placing them in an orderly line next to the small pile he pulled closer to the tables edge.
Omega: "I have no where I need to go or do at the moment." Walking over to the table she tried to pull herself up to watch what Heat was going to do, but her metal hands kept on losing their grip, causing her to fall onto the floor with a very loud metallic sound.
Heat: 'I see.' Heat idly picked her up, swiping an area so there was enough room for her to sit. before he started fiddling with the rings and parts. 'Is this better?'
Omega: Sitting down she kept her optics glued to the other's hands as they worked. "Yes it is. So are you going to remove the communicator parts out of one of those rings? If they're going to be installed inside me there's no point in having the ring itself is there?"
Heat: 'Yes, but I like putting the parts together appropriately as a type of reminder of their set up.' He said, continuing to fiddle, until he seemed satisfied and turned it on. Checking to see the changes and if they worked, before taking one of them and taking it apart. 'Where would you like this?' he asked, looking towards her.
Omega: "You'll have to open me up but you should be able to find a place to install that pretty easily I believe. However it would probably be best if I shut down before then, I do not want you to get electrocuted."
Heat: 'When you're ready then, Omega.' He said, continuing his dis-assembly and sliding the in tact ring to the side for later.
Omega: "I want to watch you make the communicators before I get them. I cannot do that while I am shut down, Heat. It would help me better understand how they work for when I have to preform repairs."
Heat: 'Ah. Alright, I'll do my best.' He said, finishing up the take apart process of the communicator. Thinking before he asked 'Would it be alright if I recorded it for later reference if needed?' He asked.
Omega: "That would be fine, I can store the video in my own data banks." As she spoke her optics did not move from the hedgehog's work. Scooting over to get a better look she might have gotten a bit too close.
Heat: 'It's always good to have a copy though, since you never know when someone'll want to erase your data-banks.' He said, giving a smile before he started putting it together again, although he took his time with it since, this would be like a tutorial of sorts for her.
Omega: "They wouldn't be able to do anything to my data-banks without me putting up the biggest fight I can muster." As he worked she made sure to record everything he did and back it up, just in case. "How long will this take?"
Heat: Heat continued to take his time, humming to her words. 'That's good. Not too long, going at this pace perhaps twenty minutes.' He said, giving her a smile.
Omega: Scooting even closer the robot stayed quiet and focused on watching for every second of those twenty minutes. When it appeared he had finished she started shaking slightly from the excitement. "Is it done!?"
Heat: 'Yes, it's done.' He said, flashing another smile as he placed it down for her to see it finished. 'Are you alright?' he asked, noticing her light shaking.
Omega: Stopping her shaking, Omega couldn't help but pick it up to examine the gadget from every angle. "Yes, I am alright."
Heat: He laid his hands on the edge of the table and tapped his fingers against the table top with a smile. 'That's good. Was that sufficient?'
Omega: "Yes, I believe this will be very sufficient. So when will this be installed and when will I get the silver ring back up communicator?"
Heat: 'It can happen within a few minutes if you want, I have the materials.' He smiles and gestures to the two communication devices.
Omega: "They are already put together? I s-suppose I could shut down n-now if that would be acceptable. D-don't want you getting hurt installing it."
Heat: 'Of course, they were already here since I made some previously.' He said, idly patting Omegas head. 'Don't worry. I'll be careful. How do I turn you back on when I'm done though?'
Omega: "Umm, that is a g-good question." Holding onto the hedgehog's hand to keep them patting on their head, she took a moment to regain her composure. "I normally turn myself on and off. If you could give me an estimate on how long the process will take I can set it where I'm reactivate after you should be done."
Heat: He gave a small nod, and thought for a moment before speaking. 'At the most, it'll take me fifteen minutes to finish putting one inside of you.' He said, giving her a smile. 'When you're ready, Omega.'
Omega: She waited another minute before letting go of his arm and laying down. Opening up her front she set her self to power back up in twenty minutes and shut down.
Heat: Heat idly went to work, taking the communicator apart again before doing his thing.
Omega: Omega's powered down body just laid still there as he worked, not even so much as a slight hum from any internal mechanisms were present.
Heat: Heat worked in silence, the chubby Sylveon who followed him everywhere was laying on his feet while he continued. He didn't really expect Omega to turn on until fifteen minutes passed, hooking everything up appropriately before looking to see if he had made any mistakes. And then closing Omegas front, and patting there, before getting the other communicator and clasping it on one of her hands. Now all he had to do was wait for her to wake up, which he had a few minutes for, he finished within fifteen minutes.
Omega: Five minutes later a hum could be heard from her as she began to power on. Since it had been a while she decided to do a full and complete shut down to give her systems a reboot and help the new system integrate better. Only problem was powering back up took longer.
Heat: Hearing the hum, Heats ears perked up and he glanced up to her. Standing up a bit straighter to properly greet her from her rest. He gave a small smile as he waited for her to turn on completely.
Omega: The first thing she noticed, even before her optics powered on, was there was something in her hand. Figuring it must have been the back up communicator she sat up when all of her systems were fully online. "Did everything go well?"
Heat: Heat gave a nod to her. 'Yes, everything went smoothly. Welcome back.' His smile got a bit wider and he idly laid his elbows on the counter.
Omega: Noticing the hedgehog's grin getting bigger she couldn't resist reaching out and poking his cheek. Deciding now would be a great time to test out her new upgrade she tried to call his communicator.
Heat: Heat puffed his cheek out playfully when he felt her finger poking it. Hearing the small tune his wrist emitted, he glanced down to it and saw that Omega was calling him. 'It seems to be working appropriately.'
Omega: Noticing the hedgehog's grin getting bigger she couldn't resist reaching out and poking his cheek. Deciding now would be a great time to test out her new upgrade she tried to call his communicator.
Omega: Omega did not move or make a sound. It seems she was not going to do anything until the hedgehog answered the call.
Heat: Which, he did. Pressing a button that emitted a small click. 'Hello.' he answered, listening for a response, either from Omega, the device, or both.
Omega: There were a few moments of silence as she thought about what to say. Omega's voice did eventually answer, but instead of coming from her it came from the ring on Heat's arm. "...Is your refrigerator running?"
Heat: That got a small laugh out of Heat, laying his other hand on his cheek. 'Yes. I am pretty sure it is running.'
Omega: "Then you better go catch it!" As horrible as that joke was, it was the only one she really knew, so she couldn't help but laugh about it. Ending the call on her end the next time she spoke it was from herself. "I think I will really like this upgrade. Thank you!"
Heat: Heat ended the call as well hearing the beeping noise that signaled that the call was ended, it took a moment or two for him to get the second part of the joke, before laughing about it as well. He's never really heard that joke, but he also has never heard the question is your refrigerator running. He often found the proper question to be is your refrigerator functioning properly, it was a peasant change of words. 'I'm glad, and it's no problem.'
Omega: With all of that taken care of she carefully hopped down, making a very loud clanking sound when she hit the floor. Heading over to the MotoCameron she opened it up and started taking parts out, being sure to organize them as she went. Once she got to the yellow Eggflapper she kept it up over her head and made her way back to the hedgehog. "May I keep this one please?"
Heat: Heat turned around, the chubby sylveon on his feet adjusting along with him so he could be behind his feet and poking his head out between heats ankles. They both watched as Omega went through and organized everything, heat leaning some of his weight on the counter as they waited. When Omega turned around with the Yellow Eggflapper and asked him, he gave a small nod, having a continuous smile on his lips. 'Of course, take what you like.'
Omega: "This will be all, I already have a few of all those other badniks. But I did not have one of these. Thank you." Putting it down away from all the other parts she went right back to organizing. Thankfully it did not take her long at all. Putting the Eggknight up on the work table she picked the flapper back up. "I believe that is everything. You will be able to create H-01 with all of this?"
Heat: Heat waited patiently, continuing to watch before she finished up, and placed the Eggknight on the counter. Flicking his ears before giving a nod to her question. 'Yes, it should be enough.' He said, idly leaning down to pick Vee up, and place him on the counter a good distance from the work area. The chubby sylveon purred when heat idly ruffled his fur before shifting closer to the Eggknight.
Omega: "Then I believe my work here is done. But if you ever need more parts you can always come and get me to help. Together we can gather more parts than either one of us working on our own, right?" Taking out her warp ring she was quick to open it and put the flapper through, but she turned back and gave the hedgehog a hug. "See you later."
Heat: Heat nodded in response to her words, when she hugged him he hugged her back, and patted her head with a smile stuck on his lips. 'Yes, you are correct. Thank you.' He said in delight. Letting his hands go loose at his sides, mostly so she would have enough time to go through the warp ring since there was only so much time to go through when it was opened 'Have a pleasant day Omega!'.
Omega: She actually considered letting the ring close and just staying here to hug him until it recharged again. But she really needed to get back home. Letting go and boosting towards the ring, she jumped and gave herself a bit of spin. So she could give him one last wave before vanishing into the portal, which quickly closed right behind her leaving no trace behind.
Heat: Heat gave a quick wave back seeing her go through the opening. After it closed he couldn't get that smile off of his face. The Sylveon at his ankles hopped around, pawing at where the portal had been before going back to Heats ankles. As he calmly went back to the counter and worked a bit on the project by drawing some plans out with a ruler and a pencil on graph paper.
