what are your fave books and authors
Oh my gosh. I’m sweating.
Let’s seeeeeee...I really like urban fantasy? So Neil Gaiman has always been a fave. I love Sandman (it’s a graphic novel but it counts, okay?) and American Gods. I love Stephen King, particularly the Dark Tower. I love Octavia E Butler! Like every single thing she wrote. I’m super into China Mieville, particularly Kraken and the City and the City. I love the Raven Cycle lately, and I really dig how Maggie Stiefvater writes. Also UNPOPULAR OPINION TIME: I really like Jonathan Franzen. I like the way his stuff feels just slightly hyperreal. I believe they call that hysterical realism. I probably like Strong Motion the best out of all his books, or the Corrections. I LOVE MARGARET ATWOOD. So much. Cat’s Eye and The Robber Bride and the Maddaddam Trilogy are faves. Okay I’m stopping there before I get carried awaaaaaay.

Liam hangs his tack from a hook on the wall and gets a feed bag around his horse’s nose and then turns to Louis, pressing a hand to his shoulder and walking him toward the door. Louis shrugs him off. He steps outside.

I can totally imagine Niall sitting in his living room having a feeling and playing his guitar and singing this Iron & Wine song to himself. This is a record I’ve historically had a lot of feelings to, so it’s hitting me just right.
The feelings would be about Zayn, of course. Like...duh.
I’m feeling this second song too. These are both very intimate to me. I feel like Niall is so buttoned up but he could probably really poor some raw feels into these songs. I’m becoming convinced that this whole covers record really is all about Zayn. MUSICAL CATHARSIS.

!!!!! I swear this post wasn’t a cry for recognition! I’ve just been over-analyzing what gets traction and what doesn’t in this fandom.
I’m not sure I have a fave? Maybe vampire boyfriends? It’s very dear to me and it doesn’t get as much numbers-love as my other fics but the people who do love it L.O.V.E. it (hello everyone who mentioned vampire boyfriends in their video memes I love you).
I really like the other ziall I wrote recently but it’s still anon so shhhhhhhhhh.
My first fic is the one that’s got the most love numbers-wise, probs because it’s steamy zarry. People love that steamy zarry. I love it too, I cannot tell a lie.
