with all these new pegasus toys just being revealed i REALLY hope hasbro is going in the g1-g3 direction again. constant mane6 re-releases were what stopped me from collecting g4 and i really hope we’ll get loads of new ponies so g5 collections can be big and colourful and bright and interesting instead of a shelf full of pinkie pies

I finally received the lovely Jakks Pacific's Shadow Generations Collector's Edition Figure!

It's very pretty, and the wings are impressive! (The base is terrible at keeping him in place though; I've resorted to trusting physics and resting the wing joints on part of the flimsy torso clamp instead.) It's a wonderful display piece and I'm glad I waited on him instead of digging for another Shadow figure secondhand.

I cannot overstate how massive the wings are; photos don't do it justice! I really struggled finding him a spot in the house, so for now he lives on top of a bookcase.
