My toxic trait is that I think that I have more time and I can do the syllabus at my own pace and cannot skip any concepts and have to do it perfectly even when I have one hour left for the exam💀 knowing that I didn't study the whole semester

Why does school have to be so weird? I want to do things so badly but I wasn't able to before. And now trying to do more I'm caught on needing to complete steps X, Y, and Z. And just feeling so weird and wanting to quit. But then I'd still want to do that thing and be nowhere near close. At least right now I have the door open. It's just jammed and I've been putting off fixing it for the past couple months.

so I work at a movie theater (bc I'm a broke college student leave me alone)

and I just wanna say

that the stuff on your popcorn is not butter

idk what it is or what it's made of.. I just know.. that stuff isn't butter

it looks like cheese when it isn't melted and smells like chemicals.. so just keep that in mind next time you go to the theaters...

more pet peeves I've gained from my job

don't fuck or anything during a movie, even making out can make people uncomfortable. just save it until after the movie, or just leave

don't talk about the movie in great detail once you leave. some of the workers want to see the movie too and don't want spoilers (showing endgame was a disaster)

if you know tickets are sold out, don't try and bribe us, there's no more tickets

it's pretty easy to tell when your underage and trying to get into an "R" rated movie

we don't care of you bring food, just don't make a big deal about it. even the people who check your bags will usually ignore it because we don't care as long as we get paid

if you do try to bribe us for tickets or snacks, it won't take much. if you just entertain us, make us laugh, or even just smile a bit, we'll probably hook you up.

and frfr most of us are just broke college students (like me) and we just want to get paid and leave. don't make our jobs harder than it has to be
