One of the funnier unexpected revelations that came out of my timeline project is that "College Material" occurs the day after "Witch Hunt". I'm serious! In my descent into insanity, I looked up 2008 SAT test dates. The SATs in-comic fall after Halloween and precede Lucy's birthday. There's only one test date that meets those parameters: November 1st.
I don't think this timing was really intended in the writing; it's certainly a surprise that Daisy went out late the night before a test she'd been "afraid of all year". I like to imagine that Sue signed up for the December SATs and drags Lucy out trick-or-treating completely unaware that Lucy has exams the next day. It also was very nice of Augustus to shadow Lucy trick-or-treating the night before the big future-defining test he has one shot at, and for Jordan to offer! Hope the kids didn't stay out too late on Halloween!
...I don't think Jordan was very well rested even though he missed the drama.
