Today is Hippo’s #collegespiritday . He’s been talking about going to the @harvardkennedyschool since he was 5! But he’s also really into science and technology. And a few months ago he announced that he was planning on going to @MIT for graduate school. Hoping to be recruited by the CIA. If not he says he’ll go straight into government as a State Senator or US congressman. Then US Senator and then President. And when he retires from government, he will be helping kids without money advance in science and technology by hosting science fairs at the White House like @barackobama did and then at his office after he leaves the Oval. He also would like design clothes for families who don’t have a lot of money, so that they have clothes to go to work and school in. He will invite these families to the White House for family movie night, food and music on Fridays. When I asked him what his political goals were, he said to ensure quality of healthcare, not just coverage. Creating more jobs in America by enforcing companies to create jobs with their tax cuts. Ending homelessness. Erasing the KKK & nazis. And making it easier for moms and dads to be parents. • • • • • • • I share this, not because I think my child will achieve all of this. But I think that it’s important to plant seeds of love and encouragement and foster the dreams that bloom. You never know what they will do. But I can guarantee you will make a better human being.
