L'Aquila (Abruzzo). Basilica of Collemaggio. The basilica preserves the remains of Pietro dal Morrone and in his honor, the Perdonanza festival is celebrated every year. The other photos show the Fountain of the 99 spouts (already restored in 2014); the church of Sant'Agostino as I found it then, unrecognizable, were it not for the architraves; the square of the Cathedral of San Massimo, of which only the perimeter walls and the monument to the deceased remained standing, which the piety of the population spontaneously built in Via XX Settembre, at the corner with Via Persichetti. Ten years after the destruction of L'Aquila, they could have been enough to do much more ... Another 5 years have passed and from what I heard, I would find a situation not very different, still a construction site city. I will be back ... To remember L'Aquila I have chosen with difficulty (we would like to publish everything) some of the photos I took those 24 and 25 June 2014, but I will also take up the other ... #laquila #collemaggio #pietrodalmorrone #abruzzo #perdonanza #99cannelle #santagostino #sanmassimo #redzone #igersaquila #beback #6aprile #signisofbeauty #barriers #instatravel #instagood #travelling #tourism #tourist #alterart #instatraveling #mytravelgram #travelgram #travelingram #igtravel #estremisti #ilmiolibro #sovversivi #massimopistis #alettieditore Information for the purchase of my new book: the book at a cost of 12.00 euros (120 pages), can be ordered in bookstores (ISBN 978-88-591-5719-9 - Publisher Aletti) or online on the page http: //www.alettieditore.it/emersi/2019/pistis.html from the link below. https://www.instagram.com/p/Bv76SeGlEU-/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1hb7t47puwo4b
