Ginga Nagareboshi Gin -figures
These non-painted plastic figures from 1986 are made by Bandai and they were most likely meant to be painted by yourself (in the sign from the figures and in the tag the figures are painted).
There are two series of these figures:
The first series includes sizes small, medium (only Gin) and large with following characters.
Akakabuto A (in four feet), Akakabuto B (in two feet), Cross, Ben, John, Musashi, Sniper, Riki, Gin, Oliver, Moss and Kurotora.
Small figures came from Gashapon machines in plastic balls.
And large (and medium) figures were kind of a packet deal where you would buy a box of Morinaga’s chocolate candies and get figure box with it.
Blue figures can be found only in the first series and in size large, they’re considered to be the most rarest figures in the first set.
The second series includes only small figures and they’re considered to be more rare ones. Second set has following characters:
Gin (laying down), Akatora, Chuutora, Benizakura, Bemu, Kisaragi, Uzuki, Hazuki, Minazuki, Madara, Smith and Kurojaki.
Small figures have a marking ©T/S T•T B. behind them and large and medium figures have ©T/S T•T.
GNG-figures are still pretty wanted collectable items and they’re pretty often on auctions too. Japanese auction sites like Yahoo!Japan are usually the places you might want to check for these but you may find them from eBay too every now and then. In Japanese auctions there’s usually more figures to choose from and cheaper prices too. Because the sellers can pretty much decide what prices they want to ask from the figures, their prices for one figure can go from 10-70 euros from 1. series and even hundreds from 2. series. Buying them in sets might save you lots of money.
