Collex Site- Make Me Up

This project was an introduction into web design. I made the subject matter about fashion and cosmetics since it is something I find of interest, but also something popular on the internet. With the help of Photoshop and Textwrangler I was able to turn personal photos into hyperlinks that change into alternate photos whenever the cursor hovers over them. On the index page the first two hyperlinks in the top row link to separate pages, one previews makeup brushes and the other previews lipstick/lipgloss. Among the tabs at the very top of my site there is an about page which, as you can figure, is information about myself. The layout of my site is meant to be girly but playful, as a way of inviting women of all ages. The purpose of this project was to test what I know about web design, in addition to understand coding, html and css.
