"Babi" is located in Tindan, a community closed to Sabare in the Zabzugu District of the Northern Region of Ghana. The water is inhabited by Crocodiles, which are belief to be the totem of the area. And don't like anything metallic thus if anyone goes into the water with any metallic object, a crocodile will first give you a warning by swimming pass you to alter you. If you don't leave the water, on its next pass it attacks you. Thus, objects made from wood, Nealon and plastics are used in the fishing while others use their bear hands too. Both the old and young all take part.
