"Who are you?" Willow asked, silvery hair falling before pale blue eyes when her mist billows around her. "The moon's out and that means it's far too late for you to be."

Lonesome Rider | Elsa & Jackson
They had been childhood sweethearts; the kind of friends, whom you could easily imagine as romantically involved, when they became old enough to be interested in such thing. The princess simply insisted upon having the peasant boy by her side, and no one could refuse a child with her powers. Day and night, they spent together, almost as if their sides were glued to each other. Of course, Elsa had moments, wherein she would give her finger to hit Jackson hard on the head, but generally, they never fought.
As all good things do, it came to an end. This one was abrupt, and it was neither of the children’s intention to glide from each other. While having fun by building snowmen with Elsa’s younger sister, who could barely walk, Elsa struck her dearest friend with her ice. When the body of said friend hit the ground, she quickly rushed to him, but only one could help; a troll. Removing all memories of Elsa’s powers from both Jackson’s and Anna’s minds, his life was saved, but Elsa had to make a promise not to use her powers. To conceal them.
Obeying her parents was not as easy as Elsa would have liked; the power kept growing stronger day by day. Eventually, she had to lock herself into her room, ignoring both friend and sister, only to resurface when her parents died.
That day, something terrible happened as well. Too awkward to approach her old friend, she had to ask the guests at the funeral about her Jackson. The answers, which followed, did not please her.
He has gone to war, Your Highness, to serve in your army. He has reached his sixteenth year. The law allows it.
She cried herself to sleep that night. First her parents, now Jackson. He was sure to die in the war, a young man like he without experiences with fighting. W h y ? Why had he done it? Elsa had heard whispers about war, but they were only that; whispers. What did Jackson care? Or was it that he had stopped caring; about her, their friendship, his life? What had happened these many years without her by his side?
Several months (maybe even a year) passed without a word from him - neither written nor spoken. Elsa grew worried, but forced herself to be positive. After ten years of not speaking to him, she should not expect a ten-page letter every day. It would be a miracle if he even thought of her anymore.
Just as these thoughts started winning, the acceptance of never hearing from him again, a rider showed up. Elsa was in the courtyard, amusing herself by making icy patterns on the ground beneath while no one was watching. When a noise interrupted her concentration, she flicked her hand to remove any trace of ice, and looked towards the noise. The sight of a rider on a black horse dressed all in blue greeted her. The blue color was the exact same as Arendelle’s soldiers wore. Immediately, she could feel her heart race. However, she could not see a face yet. Was this Jackson? Or was it a man, who had come to announce his death? Or was he simply a soldier, who had returned to bring news to the council, which controlled the country until she became of age.

Actual Human Lucille || Colonial-Trickster
The air was growing colder around the edges of Burgess, enough for one to don a shawl or coat, and where it would be wise for the proper dress of sweeping gowns that coated toes to be worn simply for the mirth of warmth in the coming winter fall. Already, tiny flakes graced the ground before melting into small pools of glistening water.
However, this proved little reason for Lucille to follow her parent's wishes of longer skirts, the girl still skittering about the town square in far too short of lacy trim, the laces on her brown leather boots exposed to the cold climate as she skipped about. Brown trusses of hair furled about her shoulders and back, another wild aspect to the teenage girl that caused huff from those about her age. Yet, for those who saw her without the michevious boy at her side, found only wary caution and a sweet smile from the girl as she offered meager means in exchange for goods that night.
"I'll give you a few extra pickles if you come and sing for little Wendy tonight. She's caught an awful fever and refuses to sleep it off." The woman at the market stall asked of the girl. "I would, but my voice is too shaky these days."
A bob of her head and a small chirp of agreeance came from the brunette. "Of course. I'll be over after dinner. Father won't be coming home until tomorrow from his hunting trip, so hold on to the pickles for me until then." An exchange for coin was made, and a turn on her heel was made to take steps away from the stand. Glancing about, she had realized the sun had passed the noon hour, and that Jack was late upon coming to the market. A pout took to her lips as she thought on his whereabouts. A small mutter remained under her breath, "If he is playing a prank without me, he'll be sure to get one on him." She had so many to plot and wanted to participate with the town's trickster.
