The Three Main Colors of PlayStation Venus 3

In the PS-exclusive game idea, PlayStation Venus 3, the beautiful, dangerous, badass and sexy femme fatale trio are represented by these chosen colors 1-by-1:

Talwyn Apogee-Yellow 💛 (#FFFF00 image in the middle)

Keira Hagai-Pink 🩷 (#FF9CEE image at the right)

Carmelita Fox-Light Blue 🩵 (#4DD2FF image to the left)

I remember watching the trailer for 2011 PS3 game PlayStation Move Heroes starring Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter, and Sly Cooper & Bentley. There were three colors looking like representation as the narrator spoke of what the 6 fight for as:

FREEDOM-Green 🟢 for Ratchet & Clank.

JUSTICE-Red 🔴 for Jak & Daxter.

HEROES-Blue 🔵 for Sly & Bentley.

Honestly, if there were to be a second PlayStation crossover game starring Ratchet, Jak and Sly as the main trio, then green for Ratchet, red for Jak, and blue for Sly would make awesome-fitting color representation for the 3 handsome, strong, brave and hot heroes.

Plus, if you think about it even by color shade, yellow for Talwyn, pink for Keira, and light blue for Carmelita actually make good and pretty color representation for the three when they fight together as PSV3. Especially when their colors in their ideal crossover game together could be close to the three colors for their love interests from when the PS2 Hero Trio were fighting together in PSMH.

OKAY BUT YOU KNOW WHAT, I'MMA LEARN YOU A THING RIGHT NOW

I haven't seen any in depth analyses on color besides on the openings so I thought I'd give a few of my thoughts.

Particularly on the color dynamic between All Might and Midoriya.

All Might: Yellow, Red, and Blue

Midoriya: Green

This involves a lot of color theory so just sit back and relax all right?

All Might is cast in the three primary colors.

Yellow is a color that represents a broad spectrum of meanings including but not limited to (in the US and Western countries) happiness/joy, wisdom, and youth, and (in Japan) courage.

Red represents passion. It doesn't matter what kind of passion, just the drive that's experienced within a person.

Blue is representative of calm. It also includes confidence and flexibility.

These are great colors to paint the symbol of hope and peace and justice because it shows his balance of rational thinking, drive, courage, and how personable he is.

Midoriya is dominated by the color green (and aqua, teal, and turquoise).

Green represents nature.

Now I'm not saying broccoli freckles over here is gonna start sprouting plant matter. It's more symbolic of his heroic nature. It comes naturally to him.

It also represents gentleness and charisma (which is are shared traits with blue, which is represented in the teals that color midoriya).

Since light blues bleed into his color of green, we also get oceanic imagery, since like an ocean, Midoriya is constant yet always shifting, and holds a lot of power.

All Might is in primary colors and Midoriya is in a secondary color, showing that first came All Might then came Midoriya. And to wit, in order to gain a secondary color, you need to combine two primary colors. In this case Yellow and Blue to create Green.

So this shows that Midoriya has Courage and Flexibility.

You're probably wondering where Red is right? Because hell yeah Deku has passion.

Well,

It's in One for All!

If you remember, in the beginning, Midoriya may have held onto his dream, but had no self-esteem, but after training and obtaining OFA he gradually becomes more sure of himself, at least enough to start fighting back anyway.

When he first uses OFA we see it glow Red and Yellow, which shows how he is Courageous, and has a drive for saving people and proving himself.

Later on, OFA appears in Green electricity because he's finally making it his own. It's starting to come naturally to him.

It's also in his shoes. So yeah. He actually had all three colors to begin with! So does that nullify what I just said? No! Because like I said he NEVER GAVE UP ON HIS DREAM!

PASSION IS REAL PEOPLE!!!

Anyway, this was a quick analysis I've been wanting to get into for a while since it's something I noticed from episode 1!

I freaking love this series because of how much has been put into it!!

Purple: Royalty, nobility, spirituality, ceremony, mysterious, transformation, wisdom, enlightenment, cruelty, honor, arrogance, mourning, temperance.

Lavender: femininity, grace and elegance.

Orange: Energy, balance, enthusiasm, warmth, vibrant, expansive, flamboyant, demanding of attention.

japan is the most like homo... racial? country in the world (aside from dprk) and they STILL make sure to have different skin colored (japanese) characters in their animation. and dark skin isnt looked at fondly in japan either. but jesus like even within a group of japanese people in their animation, they still got pales and tans and darks. bc thats how it is. not everyone is the same exact color. why do most shows in western countries default to one skin tone. its such lazy animation tbh.

You know what I think about when people get upset about changing the skin color, or gender, or whatever about a character that's typically regarded as another type? Gnomeo and Juliet. They took possibly the most iconic story ever, one that everyone reads in school, that everyone's aware of, and turned the ENTIRE cast into freaking garden gnomes. It's a cute movie. 

So, apparently, if I'm understanding this correctly, 'people' are more upset about spider-man being black, than romeo being a gnome. Skin color is more important than species? Uh. Seriously? That's absolutely absurd. 

Personally, I'd rather have a spider-woman movie. If romeo can be a gnome, spider-man can be a woman, or black, or hispanic, or transgender, or gay.

Mikasa isn't Mexican she's asian

No one said she was "Mexican", anon. There's a whole wide world of asian people that have different skin colors? (Filipino, Malaysian, etc). "Asian" people are not just one big swath of light skin, sorry. They include a wider variety of people. I think faun-songs has pretty good examples of what Mikasa could look like if color representation was a thing in SNK. 

I could get into this, and I usually have the patience to explain to people who genuinely don't understand a lot of things in regards to the question of "Why did you make this character darker than canon??"  but this is my extent if you're going to come into my inbox with no scruples. I may just turn anon off.
