Part 3
"So are you planning to keep him?", Vicky asked Oz, looking at the little spiky animal in his hands. "Y-yes. Only for a while, though. If you and the others don't mind." He knew that was rather sudden. Hopefully none of his friends would mind if he took the little one into their shared apartment. "I don't mind! And I'm sure Amira and Brian won't either," his friend replied with a grin. "The little guy looks a little upset, to me," she remarked. "Y-yeah. He already bit me when I picked him up, too. I guess he just feels a little intimidated?" "Really? Is your hand okay?" "It's fine. Nothing to worry about," after all, injuries regenerated much faster on him. Vicky nodded slightly before grinning again, "Maybe you'll get cool hedgehog superpowers now! I mean he doesn't necessarily look like a normal hedgehog." Oz laughed softly. "I don't think that's going to happen."
_
So now he was actually here. Damien's tail swung restlessly back and forth. At some point on the way to the shadow noob's shared apartment, the guy had placed him on his arms, which was definitely an improvement because his new legs were no longer dangling uncomfortably in the air. Still, the prince of hell didn't even think of letting his defenses down - or in that case, his spikes. Although he could feel his classmate flinch slightly as soon as one of his spikes pressed against the black skin of the arm carrying him. But that wasn't Damien's problem! From the noob's arm, he let his gaze wander through the common room, which was furnished like a living room and seemed quite small to him in contrast to the rooms in his dads' castle.
Aside from the nerd and his little over-excited friend, were two other monsters in the room. A tired looking zombie and... Amira Rashid. The latter was having a conversation with the monster in the yellow cardigan.
"If you want to keep him here, fine by me. But Oz are you sure about that? Taking care of an animal is quite the responsibility." Hmph, Damien scowled at the fiery djinn. He couldn't stand her. Yes, unlike the rest of the loser gang, she was clearly more popular and charismatic. And not quite as lame. But he hated how she made him look like a fool during gym class as soon as they were on different teams! Just because she won against his team in dodgeball every once in a while, or every time, so to speak, didn't mean she was better than him! She was just lucky! Nothing more!
"I-I can do it. I mean, I'm sure I can check most things on the internet." Certainly, the responsibility for a living being - no matter how small - was huge, but.... Oz was going to try. "I promise I'll do everything I can to make sure he's okay." Amira looked at him with a smile, then shook her head with a slight sigh before saying: "Oz dear. This wasn't meant to be a lecture. Just let us know if there's anything we can help you with."
Oooh. A little sheepishly, he looked up at Amira, who returned his gaze warmly. Oz had often thought that she was like the big sister of their little group. Although, in pure theory, he was the oldest among them. Not that he felt that way about himself. "Th-thank you. I'll come back to it if I get stuck. Promise."
Brian's hand came to rest on his head, and he ruffled his hair encouragingly. "You can rely on us," his friend softly grumbled to him. Gratefully, the little entity looked at his three friends who had so selflessly offered their support. "I'll see where the empty box from Vicky's last order is," Brian said, dragging himself away. "And I'll check if we have any bowls there from which the little guy can eat!" offered Vicky, already dashing into the kitchen. "Well, let's see if I can find some old cloths or blankets." Oz glanced at the little hedgehog in his hands. "I guess you and I will try to figure out what you eat, then."
To be continued.
What do you think each color crew’s living situation is like? Do they live in separate homes with their parents or do they live together in a apartment studio?
I like the thought of Oz, Amira, Brian, and Vicky sharing a apartment studio, Swayer, Abdu, Susanne, and Noodles living together in a house big enough for all of them, and Abby, Riona, Jun-Seo, and Isis live in a condo
Hello!
I really like the idea of Amira, Oz, and Brian living together. Vicky and Brian were roughing it on their own together in the early days of their afterlife. And moved around while finding odd jobs and cheap temporary places; when they met Amira and Oz and became close, they moved in together in a studio apartment.
Isis lives in a penthouse on the very top floor of a very pricy apartment building. Abby, Riona, and Jun-Seo sleep over sometimes. Abby and Riona share a one story house while Jun-Seo lives in a flat.
Abdu and noodles live together in a apartment complex in the city. Sawyer has a small house to themselves; a cabin close to the woods. Susanne lives with some relatives.
Thanks for the ask!
Monster Prom Relationship Headcanons because this is my new hyperfixation and you all need to suffer with me.
Oz Yellow, the Fearling:
They/Them pronouns
They started crushing hard on Vera Oberlin in their first year at spooky high and they started dating after Junior Prom.
Unfortunately, they often argued. Vera was devoted to her criminal empire and ended up neglecting Oz a lot.
Oz is naturally very emotional and needs a lot of emotional intimacy from their partner.
They broke up at the end of Junior Year, breaking Oz’s heart.
Oz went to Camp Spooky hoping to get some time to emotionally heal, and that’s when they started getting close to Aaravi Mishra.
They got close over the summer. While Aaravi has plenty of issues of her own, once she acknowledged her feelings she was there for Oz in a way that Vera wasn’t.
They started dating after the Meteor Shower.
BUT, it turns out Vera isn’t really over Oz, and over the Summer she decided to win them back, resolving to include them more in her business so she can be there for them more.
Hijinks ensue!

Vicky Blue, the Frankenstein:
She/Her pronouns
Vicky has been in love with Damien Lavey ever since they she saw him for the first time in Spooky Kindergarten.
They started going out in High School when Vicky finally plucked up the courage to ask him out.
It seemed like a fairy tale ending for Vicky.
But, Damien got spooked when he saw how seriously Vicky was taking the relationship.
He ended up panicking and ending things. Things got ugly.
Vicky was a mess, but she found comfort in her friends, Scott Howl and Polly Geist.
Vicky did her best to avoid Damien over the summer, but they were going to the same camp.
Eventually, Damien got some sense talked into him by his dads, and after some hijinks, he and Vicky talked about their feelings.
They decided to try again, taking things a little slower this time.
-
Brian Green, the Zombie:
He/Him pronouns
Brian has never been one much for relationships, outside of his friendship with the others of the Color Squad.
But he met a kindred spirit in the hipster vampire Liam Lioncourt, the two bonding over many things.
Brian wasn’t sure what he felt for Liam, but his friends helped him understand it was a blossoming attraction.
He confessed as much to Liam, who was pleasantly surprised.
The two started dating, although it didn’t seem to change much about their relationship except now they smooch.
But, dating Liam ignited a hunger for life in Brian.
He wanted to experience things he’d had no interest in before.
When he explained that to Liam, Liam encouraged him to try dating other people as well, and the two decided to have a more open relationship.
Enter Dahlia Aquino, who’s lust for life is unrivaled.
Brian finds it weird, to be dating two people who both seem to be supportive of the idea, but he’s happier now than he has been his entire undeath.
-
Amira Red, the Fire Djinn
She/Her pronouns
Amira has never had much of an interest in committed relationships, operating on something of a “Love ‘em and Leave ‘em” attitude.
Her passions burn hot and quickly, just like the fire she exists within.
She never took advantage, but she’s never been with someone for more than a couple weeks. All that mattered to her was that everyone had a good time and no one got hurt.
That all changed when she met Joy Johnson-Johjima.
Joy was smart, passionate, and made Amria feel things she was unaccustomed to, and that scared her.
Amira tried to bury her feelings in a brief fling with Polly, but the ghost encouraged Amira to follow her feelings once she found out.
When summer camp rolled around, Amira pressed her suit to Joy, who was hesitant.
Joy knew Amira’s reputation, and had no interest in being a brief fling. She’d had enough of that from her evil exes.
But when Amira proved earnest, they decided to give it a whirl, and both are pretty happy.
you should get the player character DLC pack.
like, RIGHT NOW.
