Many are saying the US Supreme Court delivered a narrow victory for Jack Phillips, the Colorado baker who declined to make a same-sex wedding cake because it violated his religious beliefs. Phillips had said his religious rights should be upheld. As a result of the ensuing legal battle, he lost 40 percent of his business and had to lay off half his staff. The court's ruling though is being called a narrow victory that only applies in his case.
