I have a WD and although it was cheap enough, the chord broke just on the year mark and even though it's been working fine now I wouldn't buy another one, especially not one that has to be somewhat sturdy.

Well thank God it’s all worked out now. Hot Topic really tends to piss me off. I just ended up calling hot topic and...

I ordered something off them years ago and it was the biggest hassle (at first they wouldn't accept my adress, then they wouldn't accept my credit card, then it took two months for me to get the package) I've ever gone through and vowed to never go through it again. And don't even get me started on the shipping costs. This is the only exception, these records have a very special place in my life/heart and if they were available anywhere else I wouldn't think twice about it. Unfortunately they're not.

I don't think they want international orders for these records, if they did, they'd have pre-orders of them. You can't get any foreign country problems support when the record you're trying to buy is going to be sold out in a matter of minutes. Also, if they wanted international orders made simpler they'd accept paypal (a lot of online stores only accept PP on international orders) but they don't for non-US orders. Anyway, I finally got my order in after much hassle, now I just have to hope that I don't get one of those dreaded 'you've placed an order for an item that is out of stock' e-mails (which, honestly, I'm half expecting to get because it took me so long to get the order in). Good thing this sort of thing only happen once in a blue moon, I couldn't go through this very often without having a complete meltdown.
