We love these colorful glittery shells, and France does too! stefy_n on Instagram was visiting their local FNAC, a French retailer, this particular location in La Défense - CNIT and spotted quite a beautiful display. A Tamagotchi store display for the Tamagotchi Original filled with plenty of Tamagotchi Original Color Collection shells!

Bandai Japan Announces Tamagotchi Original Color Collection

A new collection for the Tamagotchi Original line! Bandai has just announced the Tamagotchi Original Color Collection, no, it does not feature a color screen. The Tamagotchi Original Color Collection features 9 Tamagotchi Original translucent glittery shells in both P1 and P2 programming.

What’s unique? Well their packaging matches their shell, their shells are translucent and glittery, they’re adorable! Colors include red, orange, pink, purple, blue, green, yellow, black, and white. Has Bandai been listening to us? We’ve been saying that we need more black Tamagotchi shells!

The official release is set for July 13th, 2024 for Japan. Preorders are already open at several retailers including Amazon Japan, Bic Camera, Yodobashi, and more!
