Why are traditional purses always so plain? Solid colors, usually very little structure or form, simplistic in nature and design. Yes they’re made of durable materials and are built for maximum storage, but do they have to be limited to accomplishing both these things while looking so drab? Where’s the life? Where’s the creativity, the inspiration, the color? A woman’s wardrobe consists of many different colors, patterns, and designs. She’s not going to have a closet full of only blacks or only greys or only dress shirts and suit skirts. Why would she limit herself that way? And an accessory - an item meant to add flair and spunk - should be just as varied. . I’ve never been a fan of plain leather bags. I feel they’ve cheated me in some way, like the designer just threw some scraps together and said “There, it’s a bucket with handles, it’s good enough” and then marketed it as a “must-have” because it has the name of someone famous on it.
