coloring before and afters! (nobody tagged me but i really wanted to do it :D) i do delete most of my psds after a couple of weeks so these are very muteluv and gbyfd heavy (+that one pb2 wip i'm still pretending i'll get around to). upper half is my coloring!

like most, i try to brighten the scenes and "deepen" the colors. my adjustment layers stay pretty much the same for everything (levels + curves-> hue/sat-> selective color-> brightness/contrast(+vibrance if needed)) and i tweak the settings based on show/scene. if a scene is really bathed in a color i usually just lean into it and try to focus on the blacks and contrast. with kpop stages/mvs/other videos i'll sometimes do a gradient map to help w the whitewashing.
