Heading to Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 from Ft. Lauderdale and tighter on time than usual (due to last minute sorting through a bunch of our stuff before our trip). Nathan is parking the car. The kids and I approach security. The kids have TSA Pre check, but I do not. "Come with me through the regular line," I say, "Mommy, we will be fine," they say. • So I watch with trepidation as my 15, 12 and 9 year old kids head through security, along with our German Shepherd, Nala, without any grownups to help them! • I am grateful to report that they were marvelous! My bags got pulled by security which took forever, so the kids went on without me. By the time I got to the gate area they we ready to board and had everything under control. • To say I was impressed would be an understatement.
