#katereviews: Birthday reviewColourette Colourtint review:

These Colourette Cosmetics lip oils are super hyped online so I decided to see them for myself since I love a good tint plus they're not that expensive anyway. Also birthday loot yay thank you Colourette Trece Martires!
So i got the newest shade Kelsey (peachy pink) and their best seller Thalia (bordeaux-ish). Kelsey swatched pretty solidly while Thalia was kinda watery; I assume Kelsey has more color pigment than Thalia.
💄Comfort wise: they're oily on the lips (well they're oil based anyway) and it takes a minute to three minutes before they dry up. When they do, they dry into a semi matte finish which I like. But despite being an oil, they will offer little moisture, not superior hydration so I still advise prepping your lips beforehand.
💄Staying time: 2-6 hours, meals included. This is because it leaves an even stain on the lips. A good 6-8 hours on the cheeks even in the rain. (It ws raining on my birthday)
💄Smell: vanilla scented due to the vanilla essence or oil in the formula which fades away after a few moments.
💄Colour: unlike water based tints they do not settle into certain parts of the lips and even the bold colour is not patchy.color payoff is great, like mentioned above, it leaves an even stain. the color is also buildable. For Kelsey, I advice gently dispersing the product with your fingers for a softer, more natural look.
💄Packaging: Product is housed in a nail polish type container with a brush applicator similar to Benefit's Benetint. Most people don't like this because the applicator is ticklish on the lips. I personally don't mind. But the bottle is solid and does not leak (unless shaken or stored upside down so if you wanna carry it, make sure that it is secured and wont roll around your purse) nor break easily (i accidentally pushed it off my 4 feet makeup tray and it didn't crack). The box is your average carton box.
💄Price: 249 for a 12ml bottle. I think it's reasonable with the colour payoff and the packaging. Plus this will last you a couple of months to year even if you use this everyday on your lips and cheeks because the colour is great, you wont need a lot. This is based on my experience as liptint hoarder
Overall: it's by a Filipino company (surprise) and for a new venture these are actually nice and innovative. I think the oil idea is innovative since it makes the tint last longer but I dont know if everyone is okay with that. Personally, I adore this (GOODBYE STREAKY LIPS) and the colours would look great on morena and mestiza ladies and gents ;)
TIP: SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE FOR MAXIMUM PIGMENT
Rating: 💄💄💄💄/5 only because I hope they release more colours and maybe some improvement on the packaging. <3
