WHAT ARE THE POSSIBILITIES FOR COLOURING TEXTILES ON A NATURAL BASED PROCESS? - my question from last week
This week I will soak the textile in water with natural colours, and I hope it will colour the textile. Orange peels works! Now I want to test other possibilities :).
- Red Union Peel
- Rose Petals
- Green Pepper
- Red Pepper
- Used Fresh Tea (Summer Tea)

When you want to color textiles, this goes easier when you first put the textiles for 1 or 2 days in the water to let it soak. In this way the color pulls easier in the textile.
My questions :
- Can I make natural waste to a (new) solid surface?
- How can I shape them in the way I wanted?
- What are the possibilities for colouring textile on a natural based process?
- What will happen if you changed binders with water, to a binder mixed with natural coloured ‘water’?
