I’ve been avoiding social media and the news because I personally haven’t been in the right frame of mind for it, definitely not because I don’t have opinions. I get asked a lot of questions everyday so I’m going to try to sum up some of the main ones right here 💜 What’s your favourite colour? I’m torn between pink and lilac! How did I achieve this? I started with one colour, then a second, then a third. I worked in different hues bit by bit based on what made me happy at the time and my style has just evolved from there. Where do I get my inspiration from? A lot of the time my own head, but I am a massive fan of absolutely everything about the 80s and I think my style currently reflects that. How do you keep your house clean? It’s not easy! And it’s not always entirely to my standard, especially if I’m very busy. I find a routine works best for me. And wherever possible I try to clean as I go to minimise the mess. I’ll wash pots as I use them, try to vacuum downstairs once a day etc. Small, regular tasks are much less overwhelming. What do your children think? They love our home and so do their friends. How would somebody else begin to achieve your look? My current style is all about the pinks, purples and blues. They vibe very well together. Look at what you can paint, try to visualise either in your head or on paper what you can realistically change and make a plan. Lists are my best friend. Start with the walls, then the furnishings, lighting and accessories. I love a bit of neon 💡 Where do you find all of the pieces you’ve upcycled? I’m pretty well known by everyone in my life now for what I do, and I am always being given free stuff. I also use the saved sales facility on eBay and am often scouring the Facebook marketplace.
