The warp for this shawl is a BFL and silk blend that I spun from roving dyed by Fiber Optic Yarns. The weft is two strands of lace weight merino from Colour Mart.

Got further along than I thought I would today. I got all of the fringe twisted and the shawl fulled. Just have to let it dry and pick out a length for the fringe.
[been away for a few days - time to play catch up]
Day 5: Favorite Fiber/Yarn
Pink DK weight merino. Lovely. I'd like to say I have no favorites but enjoy all the yarns, but I do like wool best. Brown Sheep is a favorite in sport weight, lace weight...and others. This DK is from Colourmart, which has beautiful yarns and great service.
Just got a notification about this account's two year anniversary 🥳 and it reminded me I've not spammed my wares in aaages. Here we go!
First up: 100% silk bear because I was feeling fancy, stuffed with the wool fibre waste from carding machines.
I'm trying to get in the habit of showing my knitting WIPs so there's a public record to guilt me into finishing if I start to slack off :P 1.2mm needles and ridiculously thin cobweb cashmere from Colourmart. I did intend to triple strand it for something on bigger needles, but after seeing all the work in the Shetland museum that was so fine I'm 109% certain it was actually knitted by fairies I'm pretty into the challenge...
Another one, requested by someone, for Colourmart lace weight cashmere. Gotta love them oranges. Ya’ll can have a look at their stuff here: https://colourmart.com
Twisting the night away.
