Polyamorous Flag

I’m going to be completely honest here… I hate the polyamorous flag. Even tho I am polyam, I’m not going to use it. It’s eye-strainingly coloured, even if the colours mean something important.

Here’s my suggestion for a new version of the old one, keeping with all the symbolism but tweaking the colour:

One stripe on top, of soft blue #77a0ff, for TRUST - the openness from the original flag. One stripe in the middle, of soft pink #ff8ce6, for TENDERNESS - new to this flag. One stripe on the bottom, of muted orange #ff9a42, for TOGETHERNESS - the community with one’s partners and with others who must hide their polyamory. A medallion, in yellow gold #ffe66d, in the centre for VALUE - how much you value your partners. And finally the pi symbol - the first letter of polyamory in Greek - in #ff4747, a desaturated red, for PASSION - P is for Passion.

You could also remove the medallion, or pi symbol altogether, if you wanted:

Or just using all of the old colors and TURNING THE BITCH DOWN a bit (though I still dunno if I like the old colors, it’s a slight improvement):

I experimented a wee bit with changing the symbol to something easier to print, like chevrons or stripes:

But ultimately, looks wise, I think the central pi symbol is gonna have to stay. It’s there for recognizability and interest.
