Hi there! If you could rewrite the final episode of Watership Down 1999, The Magic what would you change?
haiii!! it's been a minute since I've watched but I'll try change the big things that bother me!!
i think the biggest thing that annoyed me was the actual magic stuff because it felt like they just shoved it into the last few episodes, like wdym woundwort got sucked away into a tornado or whatever that's nuts!!
this is a common fix but bringing back the "dog kills them" from other wsd versions makes the most sense - if I were to go for an alternative method of woundwort killing it would probably be something like campion fights him and they die together because I think that rounds out their character arcs better lol
vervain not getting an ending was weird to me, he just ran away and we never see him again so maybe idk he finds Moss' warren and they either imprison him or he just lives there idk - I literally have no idea what vervains end would look like I won't lie but literally anything would be better than we just don't see him again, being honest he probably dies in the woods...
there's so much stuff that needs to be fixed in that last episode LOL
hannah's arc also bothered me I don't know why they gave her magic
and I am of the opinion that campion should've died because it was so heavily shown and then they threw it away for no reason
