Maybe that’s the secret of his success at disappearing completely in a crowd: No one in their right mind would think “Merlin” would wear trousers falling off his arse like that. How does he even keep them up??? Are they somehow pinned to his pants or something? Glued onto his thighs? Is he not afraid of them falling off in the middle of the street???

I have no idea how he keeps his trousers up when they are this baggy. It defies the laws of gravity! I think the belt must be just tight enough to keep them from slipping over the widest part of his hips.

But honestly, while I don't think they help him from being noticed on the street (by his fans, at least...He still wears those beanies, after all, and his fans *know* that he does), you've still sort of hit the nail on the head.

He's very shy in RL; we've read many accounts from several different people saying that. I think the baggy clothes (baggy tops as well as bottoms) are an extension of that shyness. He is literally hiding in his clothes.

And it's not a new phenomenon for him; he was doing it before he got so famous. If you look back to the "Merlin and Arthur" road trip from between Series 1 and 2, everything he wore was ridiculously baggy. Even that picture from the Fanta Fever dance thing from Belfast Metropolitan College, his jeans are huge.

So, yeah. Not hiding from the fans specifically (though I'm sure he wouldn't mind that, either), but just hiding in general, from everyone.

I know...but what if it turns out it's not and we look like idiots....or it turns out it is and we still look like idiots for doubting...or I just look like an idiot for saying this at all....and I probably shouldn't be using a collective "we" when I might really just mean me.

I’m just going to go ahead and talk about this for a bit, because I have had a couple of replies to this extent

It is my personal opinion that what I ship/ care about/ think is funny within a fandom is for my benefit, and I share it because I feel that others may benefit as well. If truly considered, very little of fandom is actual fact, but rather is an extension and quasi-fabrication produced from the actual content we have. That’s why we have fanfiction, AUs, and quite frankly the majority of our ships.

While in fandom I love the idea of Brolin together, factually we have very little concrete proof of any sort of romantic involvement. And truthfully, we don’t even know where Bradley has been recently, as he has spent time in both LA and London. Do I care? In this instance, not particularly. Because so much of fandom is fiction, and I feel comfortable playing into that fiction.

Do I really think that Grey Jumper Guy is intimate with Colin? No. Am I stupid enough to not see the obvious mic on his sweater and his purpose on set? Of course not. Do I really think that Bradley went on my tumblr, saw a picture of a man on set, and convinced his sister to post a pic in a fit of jealous rage? Heavens no. 

However, I do have the right to find a cute man on set amusing, the right to take a friendly working relationship on set and fabricate a budding romance around it for the sake of hilarity, the right to see a coincidence in timing and make a funny, jealousy-ridden comparison. 

Because this is fandom. And this is my blog. And who. The fuck. Cares.

1. If you could create your own planet what would it be called and what would be on it? (hey btw I liked your answers to my questions. yup. okay anyway) Ummmm it'd be called Gronkle just because. And it would have small fuzzy creatures that are some sort of jackalope/unicorn hybrids. 

2. what is the number one most EMBARRASING thing that has ever happened to you? I uh hm. I can't think of anything fuckdamnnitshitdonkey. I don't tend to get embarrassed? Like I do dumb things all the time because I'm me but I don't get embarrassed about it so I DON'T KNOW AAAAAAAH.

3. what superpower would you want to have (you can only choose one) Either the power to heal or the ability to talk to animals (I feel like I've been asked this before and answered with exactly that o.O)

4. FAVORITE DISNEY MOVIE…GO! After literally just staring blankly at my screen for about a minute or so, I honestly cannot come up with an answer. 

5. if you had to choose between being smart or good looking which would you choose? Well I dunno, being good looking would be nice because I'm disgusting lol but I'm gonna go with being smart.

6. about how many times a day do you curse? (a rough estimate for the sailor mouths lol) Out loud basically never. I said "crap" in front of my mom a few years ago and she hit me with a towel lmao. If she's watching something and someone swears ONCE (even if they censor it) she's like WHATHALSJFKASLDAHSL yeah don't wanna deal with that. In my head? Fairly often. On tumblr? Like 90% of the time. lol.

7.do you like flan? I hate it LMAO IDK WHY IM ASKING I JUST WANNA KNOW cause it smells so good but it’s so nasty…have you even tried it? Now that you mention it I'm not sure I've ever tried it... I feel like I have but I have no memory of it so therefore I have no idea :D

8. what’s your favorite resturaunt and why? Dunkin Donuts because well just because and also I think I have an addiction to that place, it's very sad.
