👻 — Are you convinced that ghosts exist?

“They could be.” Vince answered with the afterlife in mind; as a person who was raised with religion but not actively practicing it, he was skeptical. When it came to the stereotypical ‘scary’ ghosts, he wasn’t entirely convinced. Most of it felt like a bunch of nonsense to get people to buy into falsified stories and create buzz over a certain phenomenon. “There needs to be substantial evidence. Otherwise I’m not goin’ to consider myself a full believer.”

⏲️⁠ — How long do you think you would last in a horror movie?

“I’d make it to the end.” While staying incognito most of the time would be his plan of choice, Vince was willing to put up a fight with the antagonist thrown at him.

“Jigsaw. Those series of games are interestingly terrifyin’ and terrifyingly interestin’.”

👻 — Are you convinced that ghosts exist?

“I was a kid living in an apartment in Newport Center and I remember seeing the outline of a character…something like it might have been straight out of Courage the Cowardly Dog in the corner of my room.  That day I ate a ton of cotton candy, so now I avoid eating that. Anyway. After living in Corona del Mar for like, ever, I haven’t had any more personal experiences besides having to run away from my attic or basement out of fear of the ghosts because they do exist. And it’s not being afraid of the dark. Well, I am afraid of the dark, because of the ghosts.”

🦷 ⁠— Would you rather get bitten by a vampire or bitten by a zombie?

“Vampire. From the way they’re portrayed in the media, they always have voluminous hair. Glowy skin. Don’t get it twisted though, I’m not after sparkly skin. I mean, I can achieve nice hair and skin with the products I have, but to just, I don’t know, wake up with that vibrance naturally? Vampire.”

🕯— Would you agree to participate in a seance?

“If I’m with people I trust, then maybe. Emphasis on maybe. Seances don’t have to be scary, do they? Crap. I don’t know. No. I’ll say no. Final answer. I don’t need to participate in one of those things, and I’m kind of unable to shut up especially when uncomfortable so I’ll probably ruin the whole process. I guess if people want to do it, they can leave me out of it.”

💫 ⁠— Have you ever used an Ouija board? What happened?

“You know, I feel like more people started using Ouija boards because of all these TV Shows or movies.” A soft chuckle fell from her lips as she shook her head. Ouija boards were something that Ava never believed in, even if she had in fact used it before. But definitely not by choice. “Yeah, I’ve used it before. Back in high schooI — I feel like it’s kind of a sleepover activity, you know?” It probably really wasn’t a sleepover activity; most girls tended to paints nails and watch movies at sleepovers, but her friends decided to make an exception for one sleepover during her sophomore year in high school. “Probably not, but I’m sure all of us are a little curious about whether it really works or not. Until this day, I still really isn’t sure about it. I still think one of my friends were trying to spook us and moved it. Then she had the audacity to think that she can just throw it into the trash afterwards. Whether I believed it or not, of course I told her to deal with properly. Say goodbye to the board and definitely not throw it in the trash. I wasn’t taking any risks when it came to Ouija boards back then.”

🏚️ ⁠— Would you spend a full night inside of a haunted house if someone paid you?

“Yes,” Ava answered almost immediately. The brunette always hovered between being a believer or non-believer it came to the supernatural. People often thought that her aunt’s funeral home was haunted, with so many bodies passing through the establishment over the years, but the truth was nothing extraordinary ever happened inside the walls of the building. A part of her always wanted to visit a haunted house just to see if ghost or spirits really existed. Having the chance to visit and spend the night at the haunted house seemed like a pretty excited Halloween activity to do too. “First of all, you get paid for it. Staying in all night? That just sounds like a dream. From what I hear, not all ghost or spirits are evil either. I think it wouldn’t hurt to spend a night to see if they’re actually real. Personally I don’t know if I believe in them or not. As long as it’s not McKamey Manor though. Have you heard how fucked up that place is? It’s a straight up torture house and you have to sign waivers before doing it. It’s basically giving psychos a legal getaway so that they can torture people. How messed up is that?”

💉⁠— Does the sight of blood make you squeamish?

“I’m a neuro surgery resident, that would definitely be a problem.” Liam chuckled, shaking his head. Of course, he knew that many people still didn’t know who he was, less that he was a surgeon, but it was funny, thinking of what he - or where - he would be, if he was in fact squeamish at the sight of blood.

🔪 — In your opinion, what is the most brutal way to die?

“Well, as a doctor, I know that the most brutal way to die is by plummeting down inside an elevator.  To survive a fall like this, it is imperative that one lies down on it’s back, flat on the floor, to spread out the G-force evenly. However, let’s say you weren’t able to. Want to know what happens next?” He raised his brow, continuing. “If you are still standing at the moment of impact, your internal organs may try to keep moving, despite the rest of your body not following suit. Because of this, your organs could tear out from the bottom of your body all at once, and your limbs may break under the impact. Your head, however, would remain farthest away from the bottom of the elevator, meaning you may survive long enough to see your insides make their way outside (if your brain isn’t destroyed by the fall, too). By then, pray you’ve gone into shock.” Shaking his head, he sighed. “But if you ask me, I would say burning. You are alive and feel all the pain, while you’re slowly cooked from the inside out.”

“No, not a clue. I hope it will be peacefully, lying in bed, without me even noticing. When I’m old, and after I’ve had a family.”
