Colton stood beside his father, and little sister waiting for a seat to open up to the diner. Their other dad was running late, at dance practice, so the wait was probably a good thing. Colton tugged on the shirt tail of the person waiting in front of them. The person turned around stunned only for their face to relax as they looked down at the beautiful boy with dark blonde hair. “You know my daddy is the most beautiful dancer in the world. He’s famous, he can dance to anything,” Colton tells the man beaming. His eyes glance up at Dalton for a moment as if trying to decipher if he knows him.
“Not him,” Julia interjects, “our other daddy. He’s a great dancer, I’m going to be one just like him,” Julia says to the man. “His name is Jory Marquet, our grandma and grandpa were dancers too. They’re all famous. One day I’ll be famous too,” Julia beams. “Oooo...there’s daddy,” she shouts her attention turning to Jory whose striding towards them quickly.
“Sorry I’m late, practice ran long,” Jory says picking up both children in his arms and kissing their cheeks much to their delight. “How’s my little prince and princess?” He asks them before they answer back that they’re good. He goes to set them down but they refuse to let go so he continues to hold them. He smiles at Dalton gently and leans in kissing Dalton’s cheek sweetly, “Hey babe,” he whispers gently nuzzling into Dalton’s cheek before the guy ahead of them clear his throat and thrusts and pen and napkin towards Jory for an autograph. Jory chuckles and goes to say he’s off duty and with his family, before his daughter pipes up at him to sign it. He gives a bashful sort of smile before signing the napkin and handing it back.
