When we believe in ourselves -- our skill, our feel, our ability, all the work we've put into our chosen passions, we can only succeed. . BUT we will only succeed if we choose to focus on the positive. . If negativity is first in our minds, if that's all we can focus on, we'll build problems in horses (and people) that aren't there. Heck, we'll build problems in ourselves that aren't there either if all we do is focus on the bad, the things that didn't go right, the things we are certain won't go right -- the list could be endless. . I spent years being a "glass is half empty" kinda girl, but with the help of others in my life and my own realization that negativity will only hinder us, I've learned (most of these lessons the hard way), that you have to focus on what went well. The rest will take care of itself. . I haven't had a bad ride on a horse since I can't recall -- and if I do have a bad moment, or bad day -- well that's *my* choice to let a circumstance or someone else ruin it. Positivity is infectious and the world could sure use more of it. . Are you a glass half-empty or glass half-full kinda being? And what is the biggest lesson you've learned in your life to date? .
