Back into it with Tazzie today after our huge week here on the farm 💕 . Gotta say, this little lady is becoming known as 'miss reliable' around here! I've ridden her in all weather, with or without distractions going on, and she just gets on with it. She has such a brilliant work ethic!👌 . We'll be stepping her workload up next week in preparation to start finding her a great new home. I'll be so sad to see her go, but so proud and happy at the same time to cheer her on and support her new family 🙏 Our focus going forward is going to be improving rhythm, balance, and getting her sharper off the leg. Maybe even a few fun poles sessions, too. . I'm so genuinely excited for this girls future, I'm such a huge fan of this sweet little soul and can't wait to follow her journey. Until then I'll keep the updates coming! 💕 . I spent quite a few years pretending I liked starting colts. . I mean in theory I did. I liked how my colts rode because I’d built that relationship from the beginning. . But in my head I was in full on panic. My anxiety level was through the roof. . I’m so grateful I was able to overcome that fear. . Today, I look forward to helping the next one I get to start. No anxiety. No second guessing: straight on belief in what I’ve learned from life and from the horse and from those who’ve done more of it than me. .
