The only thing Sora is worried about is if he remembered dodge roll.
the way jiminys line is worded in (what i assume is) the yen press release makes it sound like riku was ‘another girl’ sora was friends with
which, coincidentally, lines up with the error in text from the ddd opening:
so im posting this for all of you trans riku fans 🏳️⚧️
the wording is slightly different in the tokyopop release btw:
(cap taken from the internet archive)
The fact that whenever Sora loses his abilities, he's always worried about dodge roll. LOL
Ansem the Seeker of Darkness & his guardian, the dark figure.
Riku, as he closes the door to Kingdom Hearts in KH1.
....I’m....wow... I just saw this page from the CoM manga again in discord and I never noticed...the significance:
I mean, on it’s own it’s a big whopping Soriku moment in all adaptions of the game- that Riku ended up in Castle Oblivion because his very existence resonates with Sora’s...but here in the manga it goes even further. Not only does Lexaeus add that Sora and Riku call to each other like light and dark, see that puzzle he’s always playing with? It’s basically one of these:
Not just any old puzzle. A tanglement puzzle. Usually the goal of these types of puzzles is to separate the two pieces. And earlier on that same page, Lexaeus does:
But in the panels where they are talking about how Riku’s existence resonates with Sora, and how they call/ are drawn to each other like light and dark...Lexaeus clicks the puzzle pieces back in place together...and tanglement puzzles are notoriously difficult to figure out how to disentangle. So not only did Shiro Amano give us a visual metaphor about the nature of Sora and Riku’s relationship to each other being like two puzzle pieces fitting together (even adding the “click” as they click together), he also gave us the visual metaphor that these two are so entangled they are difficult to separate from one another.
Um... about the "little prince" thing, what volume is it?
Volume 2, Chapter 10
It’s when Sora visits Destiny Islands and finds Namine for the first time:
