His servos are calloused and firm with old scars and dents covering each one as well as missing a digit on his right servo. He's never bothered to get it fixed seeing no reason to if he could still use it effectively for battle.

Onslaught is unsure about touch, he doesn't fear it but he doesn't desire it either. If someone were to touch him without asking first they may find themselves embedded into the wall. It's a reflex.

One of the many reasons Onslaught wears a visor and battle mask is to hide the scar on his face. It's a very long story my friend and I made up but the short version is he loses a close friend and in the process gains this scar.
So to avoid looking at it or being asked about it he keeps his face hidden from everyone.
